Gladiator took the same pawn that Kieseritzky (exf4). I tried with the other pawn (exd4). Kiesiritzky split two games where he played exf4 and won the one where he played exd4. However, he should have lost the exd4 game as Anderssen blundered badly on the 22nd move and missed what is surely a forced mate. (Chessgames.com) Edited on 23 Oct 2010 at 18:09:51 |
