Somehow, I dont think Im gonna get that game....can't see him in the Members Directory any more

he made moves against me last night and he posted about my demise in our correspondence games today.So I suspect he is still around.

That's strange....his handle's still not in the Directory..oh well, time will tell...he might just of been barred from the BBs

I actually think in this instance it's because
 
(1) They don't appear to work on weekends
(2) They wait until a number of members complain about the same thing before they do anything
(3) They only act if they think they are legally exposed (which they were in this matter)

 
From Admin's perspective,they are valid reasons not to act rashly and they didn't.So all in all I think they handled the situation adequately.

 
 
Yea, Ahh..., I don't think so.
I don't think Admin. Brain or anyone is monitoring this site to closely. Can't blame them i guess. Theres probly not enough money to support paying anyone to work on it full time. If someone was watching it Vert would have been warned early on in his tirade. I'm sure i could have been warned occasionally ,about some of the rants i've gone on.
The freedom to hang ourselves on this Misc BB is a good thing in some ways. But it can also be a negitive when certain individuals push the limits and drive others away. Which, I think has happened here . If someone was watching/working this site full time there would probly be more rules enforced and also more improvements to the site .
 
As long as i still like some of the people here I'll stay. Ive been playing two of my brothers corr games for 10 years. Well one now that Vert was kicked off... Not really.

You make a interesting point here Doorman, Im going to start another Thread in Misc BB on this theme to satisfy a curiosity I've always had about rights vs responbibilites and the role of regulation(s).
