This of course is unless for points reasons I need to move them somewhere else. I haven't checked yet. pazuzu Edited on 20 Oct 2008 at 05:47:04 |

Reply | 20 Oct 2008, 14:38:19   Re: Leap Frog: Lost & Found this is ther "mystery" part of it to me, and maybe more than just me. what happens if black would rather O-O then have the bishop at G8? white has already O-O so white gets their piece at B1. big diff. DID I actually say that ???? LOL! Edited on 21 Oct 2008 at 00:33:01 |

If I see someone making a move that looks like a mistake made because of the new rules, or because if a misunderstanding of the new rules, then I'll try to explain to them what is going on and I'll give them a chance to correct their mistake. I think after a couple of found and/or lost pieces have taken place most of you should have a better understanding of how it all works. If a player makes a normal blunder then they are just sh!t out of luck... pazuzu |

Reply | 22 Oct 2008, 06:13:36   Re: Leap Frog: Lost & Found Oh man, this was THE worst time for black to miss a move. This will most likely be the only time during the game that each team was in line to get something bigger than a pawn. Now black has lost a pawn and white will get a knight. Ironically, had black played Nxc5 then black could have ended up a pawn ahead. Now they will be a pawn and a bishop down. pazuzu |

Reply | 22 Oct 2008, 14:50:09 In reply to pazuzu Re: Leap Frog: Lost & Found Ahhhhh, so you DO have to know the rules in order to play the right move. if black plays Nxc5, then white will NOT get a free knight back as planned but a pawn instead, because that is the smallest piece available in the "taken bin" of pieces...? is that right? and since black moves LAST,, it seems to me that black realy has an advantage in this variant. Ok, I think I can get the hang of this. |
