In response to Jaume, and trying to find the best answer, is 20 games too many for an individual to play in a MOT? How about 16?
 
Rationale w/ 20: with 11 players in a MOT, you have 20 games (10 opponents, 2 games each). Once you hit 12 players, split them into groups of 6+ until another group reaches 11.
 
Same rationale for 16 games, only counting up to 9 players with 8 initial opponents, you could split into groups of 5+ once you get more than 9 people.
 
This becomes a bit more challenging for the organizer, having to update multiple cross tables ... but not terribly. You don't get any cross-pollination (as it were) between the tables, so it's just a matter of organization.
 
And, you could even have a "winners' bracket" and a "losers' bracket" (if folks wanted the second one). The winners from the two tables play each other in another round, while the losers play another round as well, just for fun.

Hi Grim. I think you have made a good evaluation, but specially I apprecciate the possibility you indicate to create one group of "winners" and one group of "losers". Certainly it is more complicated for the organization, but as you say: not terrible.

I'm probably dead lost in this game.It's a Queen and pawn endgame with I thought was drawn but I think I was wrong.We are at move 86ish so its been a long one.Power has played the ending really well
