Scub that problem with Spud having to earn a living and me living in a different time zone. We play tomorrow 10.30 ish UK time.

He is probably posting the same thing right now. I know it's his privilege to do so, and I'm stealing it ... I'm just so ticked at that last mistake. I went from a clear victory to a solid defeat in one move.

 
 
Less than five hours to go...getting nervous....breathing getting shallow..starting to sweat...a crowd is starting to gather...what will they see?..is this going to be the defining momemt of their chess- watching lives...maybe, maybe not...

...two and half hour to go...scuffles break out as crowd members jostle for prime viewing sites...the combatants start their pre-match warm up routines...the mind games begin....the old doubts surface ("now how does that en passent work again ?"..."how do I combat 1.e4 ?"..."which one is the Rook?"..."how does the Horse move)...nevermind, the clock is ticking.....

Lets add some more tension. There is a lot hanging on this game; more precisely , a team point is at stake. If you don't know, a team point is infinitely more valuable than a game point in Nova scoring. Gladiator [Gee Dees] already won his game in round 2, and on paper Kastelka is likely to beat Dual Space [GeeDees] when they play, and Doorman [GeeDees] could be too strong for Raptor. What this all means, Spud, is that for the GeeDees to get a team point from this round, you have to win tonights blockbuster. Since the Geedees got a team point from round one, I have no option but to barrack for Albell.
