All I can suggest is to take your time and think about your move. You still have over 24 hours until you have to move.

I offered Kingsfull some advice and it's too bad he didn't listen. These short games are going to kill off leap frog again... not that I'm blaming anybody, just saying.

Sorry team.

Sorry, I didn't mean to make it sound like you didn't take your time, but you did have over 24 hours left.

There is also no reason for you to be sorry, stuff happens and as long as you try your best that's pretty much all we can ask for.

Re: Leap Frog Game

Thanks all for your understanding..

I strive to keep my sense of humor.

A group of Caissa chess enthusiasts checked into a hotel and were standing in the lobby discussing their recent tournament victories and kingsfull's blunder.

After about an hour, the manager came out of the office and asked them to disperse.

"But why," they asked, as they moved off.

"Because", he said, "I can't stand chess-nuts boasting in an open foyer."

Re: Leap Frog Game
As this game comes to an end, I have to wonder if there is a way to improve the game. Not only with a way to make the games longer but to make sure everybody makes their moves on time.

One thing I can consider is making the time period longer, maybe 48 hours instead of 24. While it may slow the game down every now and then, I think for the most part people are moving early enough that it shouldn't slow the game down that much.

I'm at a loss as to how to make the game last longer than 20 or so moves.

Maybe something like letting the captains reject up to 5 moves per game. Then when somebody make a big error the captain of the team can step in and refuse the move. The player will then have to play a different move. The captain should not tell the player which move to make but can explain to the player why his previous move was rejected.

If anybody has anything better I'd love to hear about it.
