Reply | 9 Aug 2012, 04:04:59 MOT: Albin Counter Gambit As proposed by Azathoth, the Albin Countergambit 1.d4 d5 2.c4 e5 MOT starts September 9th. Registration is open until noon on the 8th. I will generate the cross tables at that time or, if there are enough players, I will create two pools of difficulty, and create tables at that point. The following rules apply: 1. Two games per matching, one as black and one as white. 2. White must make the challenge. 3. No more than 7 players per pool (coming to 12 games per player). 4. Grim automatically wins all pairings against Blue. 5. Rule 4 is invalid. 6. There is no Rule #6. 7. Be nice. 8. The MOT organizer gets to add rules at his leisure. Thus far, only the following players have registered for the Albin: Spud TrencherKnight Kingsfull Blue Zugzwanger Grim Curiously missing is Azathoth, who suggested this opening in the first place.
