Next MOT?
I'm offering to host the next MOT. This one seems to be going along pretty well, so how does Oct 1 as a start date sound?

I'm thinking of the Evans Gambit, for personal reasons (my last name is Evans :), but am willing to take suggestions.

Hi Grim-Evans.

Welcome your idea. I like this kind of openings because they offer a lot of tactic possibilities. For me is good.

I remember creating my own "Evans Gambit" until I found out someone already created one ...

Re: Next MOT?
It is an opening which has been dead for 100 years, but the people I work for are somewhat familiar with resurrections. I'll play.

Re: Next MOT?

My wife is looking forward to the Apostolic Journey to the United Kingdom, in September, on the occasion of the Beatification of Card. John Henry Newman
Will this go ahead as planned? Have heard to the contrary.
Won't be too long before the 2010 dvd of morning hymns is released. Do you know if it includes ETERNO CREATORE DEL MONDO
sincerely

Re: Next MOT?
If you GOOGLE 'Apostolic Journey to the United Kingdom" (9/16) you will find the entire schedule of events. Also check the Vatican website.

As far as recordings and what will or won't be included I find out along with everyone else. However, The Pontifical Institute of Sacred Music offers Mp3 recordings including one of Il Creatore Del Mondo played by the Maestro of the Institute.

many thanks for your help.
Any chance of getting the Pontiff's autograph?
Do you ever pass each other in the corridor?

Re: Next MOT?
Actually, the offices of the paper are within the Vatican walls, but not in the building which houses the papal apartments. Most days the Holy Father spends the entire day in the apartment, or in his office or in his private garden. Security is very tight and no one gets near who doesn't need to be. The Swiss Guards take their responsibility very seriously. Actually, there are items for sale by Savelli, which is the official gift shop. But no autographs. Once a year they have an audience for workers in the various departments.

Re: Next MOT?
providing links is not really good enough RAPToR. If you could sing it in english and post it on youtube; that's more the way I am leaning. You could stand next to the bbq while cooking your favourite menu as well.
