Re: Monkeys Bum: The Flying pigs
This game result has been posted on the tournament chart, but my earlier result with SouthernComfort has not been? Both gamew with SouthernComfort have beencompleted and the chart should show that I have only one game remaining.

Re: Monkeys Bum: The Flying pigs
The Monkeys Bum Defense ( Robatsch)

SoCo - Kastelka 0-1

The game was won by Black only by sheer chance. White made the first awful mistake at move 25.Nxd6 , when rather than capturing with the Queen, and winning the game ( two pawns advantage with no compensation for Black), he decided to capture with the Knight, giving Black a new fresh breath.

For now, the game is equal, the slight advantage Black has is not sufficient for winning. However, the game goes on , mainly because of its very tactical nature ( whoever makes a mistake is more likely to lose ).

No mistakes for a while and here is the endgame: Black-3 connected pawns, B, and N versus White- 3 connected pawns( on the same side like Black) and Rook.
One of the first similar endings was recorded between
J. R. Capablanca - Em. Lasker ( St. Petersburg 1914).
Karsten Muller and Frank Lamprecht in " Fundamental Chess Endings" ( Gambit 2001, 2002) explain the strategy for the defending side: "The King should just sit and wait in his fortress."
Black kept playing this otherwise drawn game ONLY because the defending King started " some misguided activity"(KM & FL)!

Thank you SoCo. The journey was amazing!
