Re: Monkeys Bum: The Dealers
This was not merely a blunder. It was suicide! When I played 20...Ke8
I thought I was playing 21...Ke8 after playing 20...R/hc8. Who needs
Kevorkian when I have Bartvinnik?

Re: Monkeys Bum: The Dealers
Another clerical error and i mangaged to convert a won game into a
loss. It takes real talent to be able to do this twice in one
tournament!

Re: Monkeys Bum: The Dealers
Result:

Bartvinnik ½ power ½

This completes my playing schedule. I finished 3½-4½ but should have
finished 5-3. Wait 'til next year!

Re: Monkeys Bum: The Dealers

Grim (1) - power (0)

But he spotted me a blundered queen loss, on purpose, I think.

Re: Monkeys Bum: The Dealers
I had a brilliant, well-thought out analysis and move progression based on what I perceived to be an obvious oversight on black's part for move 30.

Then I realized what a n00b mistake I would have made, allowing my queen to get attacked simultaneous to my king being checked ...

Re: Monkeys Bum: The Dealers
power (1) - Grim (0)

Great ending ... I totally fell for a trap in a game where I had definite piece advantage, but he had two pawns I couldn't get to.
