PROCEDURES
 
For each Round and each Pairing, the player of White should contact the player of Black, via mesaage, and arrange a game time. When that game time arrives, White should challenge Black at the agreed-upon time control. If a game for a given Round has not been completed by the default game time for that Round, it must be played AT the default game time. Games scheduled for any given Round may be scheduled and played at any time. It would be possible for a player to complete his entire playing schedule in one day! When a game is scheduled, please inform me, by message. I will maintain a post on this board listing scheduled Nova game times, so they can be observed by Nova participants and other interested parties. Results of Nova games should be reported to me, by message and I will update the Tournament Chart. White reports if the game results in a draw.
 
TIME CONTROLS
 
The default time control for Nova games is 30/30, but, if both players in a pairing so agree, time controls of 30/15 or 30/60 may be employed. I will even allow a G/10 time control if that’s the only way to get a given game played, but I greatly prefer not having to resort to speed chess for Nova.
 
FORFEITS
 
If a game for a given Round has not been completed by the default game time for that Round, it must be played AT the default game time. Players must report to the Nova 2010 /Chat Room so I can be sure that both players in a pairing are present. If one player in a pairing does not appear, that player will be forfeited. If neither player appears, a double-forfeit will be administered. Of course, if a game has been played prior to the default time for that Round, there is no need for either player in that pairing to report at the default game time. But, please, let’s make this a forfeit-free Event!
 
NOVA 2010, as have all NOVAS, will be decided by TEAM POINTS with GAME POINTS becoming a tie-break. If Team Green wins all its matches with 2½-1½ scores they will win NOVA with 4 TEAM points over Team Purple, which lost to Team Green, 1½-2½ but won all its other matches 4-0. Team Green wins, although they had 10 GAME points to Team Purple's 13½.

That is some Superbowl apetizer!!...I would not be able to watch it but I hope you can post it later....kudos all and what a way to start this Tourney!
