Reply | 21 Apr 2008, 09:10:22   MOT 3 French opening winawer variation. Announcement and future games. Hello, all Soon, I am planning to start a new MOT. Each player needs to play 2 games against each other in this tournament. I wish to state that the time limit will be a typical one for corres games, you don't have to change it.It will be 20/30, meaning 20 moves in 30 days. To challenge someone, go to "corr games", one of the tabs of the main screen. Select "challenges". Select "show advanced options". You can issue a challenge by typing the name of your opponent. The speed remains the same.Challenge your opponent twice, once with black, once with white. On the "comment" tab,you can state the opening . In that case, the opening will be the highly controversial Winawer variation of the French defence. The games you will play will all start with the following moves. 1 e4 e6 2 d4 d5 3 Nc3 Bb4 4 e5 c5 5 a3 Bc3 6 bc3 Ne7. I hope to get as many registrations as possible before sunday night 2400 GMT as AdminBrian will post this message to all Caissa members afterwards. Greetings and good luck in the forthcoming games. I am to play 2 games against every other player in the tournament? So if there are 20 players, in addition to me, I am playing 40 correspondence games? |

Reply | 26 Apr 2008, 00:31:21 In reply to Gladiator Re: MOT 3 French opening winawer variation. Announcement and future games. Gladiator said: Please,Wiz you are not the TD. I run this tournament. Glad -- just a friendly reminder that a Member Organized Tournament is a collaborative effort among all members in the tournament. If there is any disagreement, then the correct procedure would be to ask the members what they want to do and try to form some kind of consensus. Edited on 26 Apr 2008 at 00:39:37 |

I tried to email you but your email address is not valid. Any ideas why? Also I would like you to define the next MOT theme as your style is quite spectacular. I have no doubt your choice will be as well. From now on if you don't mind I will post your games as well. I always have an eye on this site, on holidays until tuesday. As for the email; this is the story. There was a time when I was not happy with grevillea as a handle, so at the last renewal, I reverted back to my former handle of likelymoor. I did this on the old caissa site and then discovered that I could not do the same on the new caissa. So, I have two handles, but only one email , which is likelymoor@caissa.com. Using that address, your message will turn up in my message box for grevillea on the new caissa. Are you sure you really want me to pick the next theme. I'm happy to do it. But you have more faith in my ability than I do !
