well, do we really need a filter, now that the dark forces of the BB have got their act together. Well grevillea, f*cking with the nutjobs is always a fun time waiting to happen. Glad the 'dark forces' still exist here. I'd missed that.
 
Also - as long as we're being entertained by it, I say we keep jamming the BB filter question up Admin's nose. If he has any honor or self-respect, he'll answer.
 
 

 

Maybe it'd have more of an impact if everyone started their own BB Filter thread and keep moving their own post up to the top.

Ok this bringing posts to the top and no reply is not gonna cut it. Admin Brian is odviously monitoring bb posts and not responding to this kind of juvinile behavior and frankly i don't blame him. Someone must step up and propose some alturnative to the current caos that is the bb board. Remember... ask not what your bb can do for you, but,what you can do for your bb.

Four options
 
 
(1) The Multihandle agrees to just post to ONE topic with all of his C&Ps, links, clips etc OR one for the C&Ps, one for the links etc
 
(2) AB agrees to Bampot et al's idea of separate BB for this stuff, thus freeing-up the the Misc BB
 
(3) a Filter
 
(4) We continue to pile shit on the Multihandle until he changes his ways
 
1-3 depend on someone else doing something so I wouldn't hold out much hope , 4 hasn't had much effect so far but you never know...he has to crack sometime

I think method 4 is working. He is down to about 1 post per day, which I think is acceptable. It would be even more acceptable if every cut n paste came with some personal comments. Then he could be an asset to the site. Anyhow, I'm feeding the cows extra hay and i'm standing by with the shovel.

 
I suggested this about 8 years ago when I was here for the first time. This BB was overrun with god and junk crap, like now, with no end in sight. Nothing happened.
 
As for the separate BB, well, that won't be respected by the 'others' either. If you will take a look at the other BB's you will see that 'they' are jamming those also with what they think is important items.
 
 
In order to resolve differences one MUST be talking to people that have a tiny amount of respect for others. The more crap they put up in order to cause disruption the happier those creeps are. There is NOTHING that can be done.

limit the number of new threads opened per day to ONE.
 
the perps won't be spamming in existing threads because that is not what they like to do. they like to start 10 or more new threads a day and walk away, with no real intention of debating or conversing or in any way, being communicable.
