Actually that B6 pawn is the linchpin of the Black's sides diabolical trap.Hopefully no one on the White side will see Paz's suggestion

Even I have to admit,,, black's position in the leap is getting to be wasted time.

I think it is a good way for fellow members to communicate and get to know one another, and that is what cassia needs more of, in order to make it the thriving web site it once was. YOu don't just come in here to play chess, you come in to see your friends.

Even if we did another game with the same players, the teams would have to change a bit seeing how ratings have changed, especially yours.

but let's see how the others feel, there really is no such thing as wasted time over the chessboard, th emore I think about it :-)

LOL I think Wiz decided it was hopeless and bailed.Guess we will play til mate.

My computer is showing black getting into a forced mate by move 44 (mate in 150). That is of course if everybody played what my computer thinks are the best moves. Weaker moves will speed it up.

BTW, just because a computer program shows mate in 150 does not mean it'll take 150 moves. If you let it think a bit deeper then it'll drop significantly.

Exactly. If white had put a bit more effort into getting a queen, we , on the black team , could have pulled off a stunning checkmate. So , it's on to plan B, where the entire white team is invited to a bbq. Meanwhile, with careful aim, Kingsful is launched from a plane at 10,000 feet, and takes out the entire white team in one hit.Kingy is not keen on the idea, for some reason. Seems like our best hope.
