The tournament is almost over, I will be sending out a message to all participants with a status report on how many games they have left.
 
But I do want to thank all of you for hanging in there - we had NO dropouts and that is good.
 
and once again, Gladiator is King of the Hill with a perfect score and only two games for him to go.
 
EDIT: Attention all, just now, Wanna2008 became the first to complete all 30 games! Give it up for Wanna2008!
 
EDIT2: this just in! on recount, Grevillea has been the 1st to finish for some time, sorry Wanna :--(

I know this Poisoned Pawn for 20 years now and I am always up to date with it, checking www.chesslab.com every week for innovations and new games.
 
For the next MOT, I asked AdminBrian to post a sticky in a few days in the MOT section of the BB. The starting date will be 24th of december.
 
So far 8 players are on the next MOT

Wonderful news,,,
 
every single game of the Poisoned Pawn MOT has been completed except one, (NevadaMaster - Power) which is definitely in progress and is, supposedly - soon to be finished.
 
I feel very good about that, knowing that not ONE game was simply abandoned.
 
Thank you all for being great sports and I really look forward to doing it again. It makes it so much easier to do when the people you toil for appreciate it and do their part to make it a successful tournament.

Excelent results Snoop!
 
I think is the first Chess Tourney I joined in my life and thanks to you Snoop, I enjoyed it a lot, you put a very special attention to details, follow ups and excellent comments in some of the posts during it... proving you are also a great organizer as well.
