FORFAIT a game
How and when you can forfait a game and what are the advantage to do so. If a player thinks is losing the game is by forfaiting less damage with the rating????

Re: FORFAIT a game
Hi there Francodi:

I don't think you have an elective or selective choice to forfeit by pushing a button. From what I have experienced and seen is that a forfeited game is the result of your opponent not showing up to make a move and thus if you are playing corr games the days wind down and the clock runs out...game over you lose. fredtexas and svm have just experienced it as you can tell from the results board. Your overall rating I believe falls just as it would if you lost the game. The stats you have overall will simply show more forfeits than loses. Some new players or guests may challenge you and show up to make 1 move and then they never return to make another move so you collect a win by their forfeiture of the game.

Re: FORFAIT a game
JJJStack, thank You for your explanation about forfeit. You were kind to answer my question and certainly I appreciate your attention. It has happened to me a few times but now I know the reason. Thank You again and I will see You on The BOARD.........
