According to the Swedish newspaper Aftonbladet US republicans threatens with war against Iran. How serious is this?!?

Matthew 24:4-8 {4} And Jesus answered and said to them, “See to it that no one misleads you. {5} For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will mislead many. {6} You will be hearing of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not frightened; For those things must take place.. but that is not yet the end. {7} For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom; And in various places, there will be famines and earthquakes. {8} But all these things are merely the beginning of birth pangs.

It's been said, on More than a few occassions; That, it's Not a question of: 'If, Israel, and-or, other 'Western' nations, will attack, Iran's 'nukes'; But rather.. When?!" .. As for myself? .. Since, {according to the Bible}; The 'Shite' hitting the fan" is inevitable; As a 'believer'... who am I, to take any position, resembling.. 'God, forbid'! {rhetorical}. --

 
Well, personally I dont think anything is inevitable, I think the future is what you make of it. And furthermore, I belive such an attitude as yours to be dangerous...

 
If, you examine your statement {Zilon}, that you 'don't believe ANYTHING {my emphasis}, is inevitable'; Then that, would appear to require a 'greater-leap-of-faith' {if you will}, than most, if not all; Faith-based, religious/spiritual, belief-systems!
 
Perhaps you yourself, Zilon,{plus undoubtedly, many others}; Aren't sure, {to the-point-of being 'highly doubtful'}; Of the reality, of the existence of 'the-God-of-the-Bible'; Which can often be ascribed to ignorance.. and-or, a dismissive attitude,{& without close examination}; Re. already fulfilled, 'prophetic {Holy} Scriptures,' written over 2 millenia ago. {there's your 'inevitability'-in-action!}; And I would suggest; Is One major cause, for that unbelief!
 
I omitted, for brevities sake the next verse, of 'Mat.' 24; Which speaks to yourself, & others, regarding, the belief-system, I subscribe to, as 'dangerous.' And, if one extends this thought, to its logical conclusion; It involves 'persecution' of the {so-called}, believers!; As related, in Matthew 24, verse 9. {see below}
 
9 “Then you will be handed over to be persecuted and put to death, and you will be hated by all nations because of me. 10 At that time many will turn away from the faith and will betray and hate each other ....
 
Ps. No; I'm Not fearful that you {Zilon}, are 'out-to-get-me' ..lol. It's just your more action-oriented, modern-day 'fascists'.. {many, already, in the USA, in 'highly-placed' positions!}; That I believe, the {Bible prophesied} 'persecution,' will sooner-or-later, come from ... If it hasn't already!? --
