ChessCube - pretty good, not better, just different, like chicken vs fish, Larry Bird vs Magic Johns
My ChessCube experience has been good/different. The interface is good, but the whole chat and tournament stuff is degenerative as usual. The economy crack addict tokens are 'cubits', much like chessbase's 'dukats'. The playing experience is pretty good, though. however, they allow pre-moves, which really shouldn't be allowed. Being allowed, I use it.

It's like a chicken vs fish. I like both. So I'll play here speed games from time to time if everyone doesn't mind, but I'll play there too.

Hi buddie!....after losing more than 200 points on unfair glitches and lags or disconnections chesscube was like an oasis of relax and tranquility that if I lose is because i made a blunder, were too slow or that my opponent was superior...no external issues.....and since I almost play only fast games now G1...i am only around there...i have earned 2000+ cubits without spending a cent..just by playing or participating in fast tourneys...

I have 7,124 cubits....hehehe. Record is +31=1-10, rating is 1873 - losses mostly at G/1 - I get a little frustrated at that speed.

If you want more cubits just let me know and you can roll the dice at some g/1s :)

For what its worth what are cubits good for, say you accumulate 2000, or 250,000(?), then what, you buy a luxury condo?.

Nightclub, different amounts unlock certain premium features, allows lessons, and entry to tournaments. In truth, I don't really use them but they might be useful when grandmasters request you pay them stuff like 500 cubits to play them each game.

Trencher, I also had jave error files on my desktop - download the lastest jave run-time environment for your operating system and should go away - they went away for me: http://www.java.com/en/download/manual.jsp

Rogue. Nice table, for a hotel room...:P

I don't normally like fast games but I found a comfort zone with G/3 + 3 sec. Having trouble beating players higher than 1600 but am enjoying it nonetheless.
