Answer: Dan Wieden; He might be retired by now.. but in any event; Almost 22 years ago, he coined the now, long since patented, 'Nike' {Inc.} sports expression: "Just Do It!"; While heading up the Portland {Oregon} based, 'Ad' firm: "Wieden & Kennedy."
 
As of this posting; I don't know who came up with 'Nike's now famous {check-mark} "Swoosh"; But conceivably, it was the same man and-or, advertising firm!? .. Even if he wasn't; I consider him, a minor genius!

About 18 months ago; 'BHO' found it politically necessary, to figuretively cast his self-admitted, "spiritual mentor, counselor and father figure" {he'd never had} 'under-the-bus'; Simply because, as 'Obama' has said, on more than one occassion: "It's Not about Me"! --
