THERE IS A GOD!
In 1966 England's Geoff Hurst 'scored' a phantom goal against Germany to win the World Cup. Today, England had an obvious goal disallowed. Against Germany. In the World Cup. The Karma took 44 years to catch up with the Limeys.

Re: THERE IS A GOD!
I think the football refs were probably bribed to make some of those bad calls, since the huge sums being bet are an invitation for fraud!
Ps - Bribery, plus if necessary - various threats to the referees personal safety, including their families. Even many of the players seem comfortable with feigning opposing team fouls, by falling-diving.

Re: THERE IS A GOD!
Get over it Vertator. The England / Eire problems are history, as are the England / Germany issues. As an Englishman, I would be chuffed if the Krauts went on to win this world cup. Only because, the Germans share the belief that few things in life are more important than winning the world cup. And as you would not know, at the last world cup in Germany, English fans got behind Germany, once that England team went out.
This is the great reality of the present day European world. Pretty much all the old hostilities have gone. It is only idiots like you , Vertator, that try to keep the old fires going.

PS there is not a god, either.
