When the USA was involved in the KOREAN CONFLICT my dad mentioned to me that in England, he saw many people engaged in the game of chess at the PUBS. How long has this been going on, and how can anyone guess, did this movement get started? He also told me he was sad because he didnt know how to play, I get the idea that chess was a great social ice breaker.
