All, repeat, ALL administrations have failed to win wars and wasted lives. The ONLY way to win a war is to become the enemy and inflict so much damage that even the most stupid cockroach brained enemy will cry stop or lie dead rotting in the sun!!
 
The arrogance of the politicians is the reason we are in this losing battle once again and that is the reason the death toll will grow and grow with no end in sight.
 
Now we have an enemy with a vastly different mentality. One side of the world realized this nation could be a great economic and social benefit. The other side of the world isn't nearly that intelligent. They teach their children to hate this nation and that will lead to a no end war. 3000 years from now this nation will still be under attack from these people.

Important note: The hated 'enemy' has more than a few tricks up its sleeve, to 'blend-in' with the civilian population. Which then makes US seem like 'The Enemy' to the Afghani 'man-in-the-street'!; Not sure, about their oppressed women!?

After an overnight thought session I have decided that the term “stupid” was used in haste and might no accurately reflect the exact word needed.
 
While it is true that any government has the personalities in its employ to become one of the aforementioned regimes the U.S. Government has not evolved, or devolved, into that form as yet. Perhaps it is due to a well armed citizenry. In order to control a population that population must be without any form of defense.
 
That being said I would like to address the “stupid” remark.
 
I feel that even the most stupid person has the knowledge that Hanoi has not been bombed recently. That same stupid person knows that the Government has not attacked Richmond, Vicksburg or Atlanta and does not actively pursue the decedents of the Southern leadership in order to imprison or murder them in retaliation for the action of their ancestors during the war between the states. Even a stupid person realizes that we no longer bomb German or Japanese cities. There have not been any Japanese citizens rounded up and place in camps in recent years.
 
When conflict is over this nation has always been a major contributor in rebuilding and reconstruction.
 
A stupid person is aware of the worldly state of affairs. Where does that place you?

I gave it my best shot {essay reply}, before deleting it. My errors in format and even expressing myself, were sufficiently grievous {more so than usual}; That only I would realize, that it was because {for whatever reasons}, I was not fully awakened; As regards, my sleep cycle.
 
My higher reasoning ability, though, tells me; "What will be, will be." And RAPTOR's heartfelt typed words {or anyones for that matter}; In terms of affecting, how things will ultimately 'play out'; Aint worth a bucket full of shite. Though obviously, the methane gas, that can be hypothetically extracted from such, is worth a little! --
