It's 'out there' folks!; And I have reason to believe, that a fair proportion of it, might be interesting to more than a few people!
 
But, in an attempt "get-the-ball-rolling" for those of you, who've seldom or even never posted, {for lack of not knowing, What to post}; Just 'google' arcane knowledge; Find a topic that you find reasonably interesting; And then {disreputable phrase, follows}; Just 'copy-and-paste' {the article preferably; Or the Web link itself}, Re. a specific "arcane knowledge" topic..{as in specialized and relatively unknown}; And post it on this "Miscellaneous Bulletin Board."
 
You may even experience the positive 'vibes' that come from knowing, that you shared something you found interesting, with others..{ideally, of socially redeeming value!}; That until you'd posted it, had been largely unknown!

You missed your calling buzzkill. I imagine you as a tenured professor of Classic Sophism standing at your lecturn in a massive high ceiling classroom surrounded by several hundred students at some elite ivy league college university.

Thanks, for your astute observation Lebeowolf!; And I welcome you, as a new fellow {Caissa} poster! .. And hopefully, you won't fall into the 'trap' {and it Is a Trap!}, of repetitive sarcasm; Esp. regarding other members here!
 
Oddly enough; Going all the way back to my 8th through 12th-grade h.s. mostly 'turn-off' experience {1963-68}; I found that, at least for myself; The 'GPA' requirements, for getting into a respectable college, were unrealistic.
 
Anotherwords; How pray-tell, is the 'middle' student {sounds nicer than 'average'}; Supposed to get 'A' and Bees, in a then, foreign language, 'requirement' course; Followed by Biology requirement; Higher-math requirement; Plus several other 'requirement' courses; And Still have a teenager 'Life' to lead, Outside of school?! ..Yeah; I know; I'm coming across to Some of you, out there, as 'Poor Me.' ..N-O-T {really}.
 
But I just Did give some background {as it were}, to the curious; On how I 'missed my calling'..{Not that most of y'all out there 'give-a-hoot'; In my anticipating, sarcastic replies, mode}.
