The Australian operation won't nessesarily go under but it'll stuggle to stay afloat. The local subsiduary, Holden, is still one of the biggest employers in my neck of the wodds and I have some friends who work on the line who are now on half-pay and others in the offices who are just waiting for the axe to fall. A couple of years ago Mitsubishi closed their big operation in Adelaide and lots of those guys and gals are still looking for decent jobs |

The current administration is obviously clueless about foreign affairs except that they want everyone to love the US, that and that America is to blame for everything bad in the world .... the 'Blame America Frist' crowd is running the show at the moment Hopefully the tide starts to turn in 2010.
