I completely understand why this would put you to sleep. It is obvious from your other offerings that you posses absolutely no direction whatsoever.
 
If, in your opinion, this post was without any redeeming qualities why then did you bother to post?

I found it one of your extremely rare postings that I actually watched or read. During my Marine Corps days we had several 24 hour problems that were almost exactly like this video. We were taken to a remote location and the only thing we had was three meals a compass and a topographical map. No, we didn't have any GPS gear. That came, for the regular troops, after I left the service. It would have made the problem easier but not as much fun. Especially at night when we couldn't sight anything through the compass. The search and rescue detail were kept busy for several days after those exercises. Fortunately our squad was never in need of rescue. We only needed to remember the following:

Neither of which is Marine Corps policy.
