.. Is one of those 'oxymoron' {paradoxical} phrases, that All 'sides,' {in so many words}, have used, to justify their violence, throughout history. Which, unless you happen to be one of the 'peace-at-any-price' crowd, IS.. sometimes, objectively justified; though not, universally agreed to.
I suspect, that in the present highest profile conflict, {Arab-Israeli}; A lot of lives would be spared, if Both sides, were to agree to resolving their disputes, through chess!
 
Yet, oddly enough; Would produce the same result; Since, when was the last time, you heard of Russian 'expatriate' chess masters, {and grandmasters}, immigrating, to Any 'Arab' country?! ..............................................................................
