Almost ALL of them have only the one post to the thread. and are mostly boring "cut and paste" articles.

Reply: Yeah; And All-the-More-So, when you've apparently decided to take a rebuke to your own thinking, as a personal insult..{Re. 'hearing from God'}, that appears in the Scriptures themselves!
 
'FYI,' 'Snoop'..among some others; God/'JC' much more often than not, reaches out to the 'unsaved' {sorry}, through intermediaries; which is how the hierarchal, power-structure 'pyramid,' works.. in many different setups; Whether it be.. the corporate world, secular government, or even the governance of our universe/'multi-verse'!
 
The major exception to this, being prayer!; If said, or thought in full sincerity, on the part of the 'petitioner' {if you will}; Your own instant 'hotline' to God, is on an equal footing, with the most devout among believers!; Of which, I don't even come close to being; Though, a 'born-again' believer, none-the-less!

When I went to school and had some report due I used to find an article and copy it word for word. We didn't have computers in those days so I had to do it with pen and paper. When I had the article copied I would carefully rearrange the words and phrases so as to make it sound like my own work. You might be doing the same thing. Perhaps you are impressed with your own writings but I honestly don't know if they are in fact your ideas or just a re write.
 
Just my opinion but I class you as phony as the 'others'. All show and NO substance.
 
We, all of us, are just bits and signal stuff over a phone line. We don't anymore know if you are a real honest person or just some make believe person that you would like to be. Elmer Gantry, Jim Jones or perhaps a Marshall Applewhite maybe?
 
I can only think of two people that I KNOW are genuine and trustworthy. Snoop and Myself. Everybody else are just signals on a phone line,

I've had the pleasure of talking with several over the phone and of course, meeting several at the one time we had a get together at the world open in philadelphia - and two other people in separate incidences.

Here is what I think about the cut&paste posts:
 
I found out chess and old pals again by chance thanks to my son and for Dual Space..this time the difference to be happily hooked* was discovering old pals like you and trying slow chess in the form of correspondence chess( "mother of all battles" for Snoop)
 
I entered the tourney and in the meantime ( while playing the "waiting game"-specially with Dual Space!!-) I also started to read some posts...now I peek almost all Miscellaneous and quickly decide what to read and what not to read according of my interests...sometimes the Q&A are funny,sometimes the Q&A are deep and take me to rethink or different views or enlightning ideas...sometimes I really do not uderstand a word, sometimes I do not share a bit of the opinion(s)...
 
Many interesting debates and postures need cuts&paste i.e. about the Bible, existence of God, death, politics and is understandable the use of quotes, extracts, etc...but the bottom line is what the ideas are and not where they came from ( This is to judge the validity of the argument) and on the other side if the subject interests me ( This is to judge if i choose to read it or not). If we respect or disrespect the idea only for the source we can be tempted of commiting a falacy (ad hominem?). I think when BB was designed as place to post ANYTHING...you can expect also that and make a choice...(graffiti? no problem! is a another form of expression)
 
...it is hard to come with fresh ideas in ANY field if you think it and see every expression of mankind ( art, chess, politics,religion, pick it!) and most of the time when we find something new is because it was re-interpreted, changed, opposed to, or retaken from something already existing..the steps are made very slowly until it is converted in something brand new....so for me C&P is no problem if is pertinent to the subject and always the more firing arguments will be about art, sports,sex, religion, politics...let it be!

I also recall this picture was based on the best seller of the same name (All you wanted to know about sex but were afraid to ask) by David Reuben who happened to move just in front of my house a few years after his big hit...I made some friendship with his older son David Jr....that was when I was 14 years old...10 years after the rumors were that D jr was really a CIA kind of agent...small world!
