Rush blames recession on Obama
"The Obama recession is in full swing, ladies and gentlemen," Limbaugh told his radio audience of 15 million to 20 million on Thursday. "Stocks are dying, which is a precursor of things to come. This is an Obama recession. Might turn into a depression."

Seems the recession was caused because markets have anticipated an Obama presidency over the last 2 years and were scared of him raising taxes. Riiiiight...

You just got to keep one thing in mind, with people like Limpballs, when they say...oh wait a minute... he's a republican, it doesn't matter what he says.

RIP GOP.

Re: Rush blames recession on Obama
.. The 'hype' that has understandably accompanied 'Obama's candidacy, followed by his election; Is still in its 'running-its-course' {or is it, "coarse"?!}, mode!

It seems reasonable to suppose, that around 5-to-6 months after his inaugauration; His 'supporters' will start a process of indeterminate length, of no longer being considered 'Obama' supporters; Simply because his arguably eloquent, {if 'shallow'} rhetoric; Will be clashing with the 'fiscal-realities, nightmare' legacy, that 'poor' 'BHO,' has inherited!

Ps. If there's an analogy here; It would be that of a much anticipated, & Big budget, Hollywood movie production. But 'fast-forward,' to 25 minutes into the movie; And the lead elements, of many more disappointed spectators to come; Start to literally 'vote with their feet,' by walking Out, of the theater! ..Sad! ....

I've waited 8 years for this to happen and I feel I have a right to gloat about it. As long as the religiously insane are no longer going to be in charge of anything, I'll happily take whatever trouble comes because of it.

Who the hell do you think was significant in his winning? Did you miss the memo that states the "chosen ones" have elected "the one" as G-O-D !!

Be happy, I know I am for sure. We finally have a proven leader to take us from the chaos and torment and poverty in which we have been forced to live with for 8 long years.

Re: Rush blames recession on Obama
So the religiously insane voted for Obama? Let's take a closer look...

Washington Post said:

The Evangelicals: For months now I have been telling anyone who would listen that Obama would win this election if he could siphon away from McCain 5% or more of the Evangelicals who voted for George W. Bush in 2004. Obama did that. Sort of.

McCain scored 74-75% of the Evangelical vote, roughly 5% less than the 79% Bush received. But Obama seems only to have improved upon Kerry's numbers by 3-4% nationally. Kerry scored 21%, Obama around 24% (though his increases were higher in crucial states like Ohio and North Carolina).

I was of the opinion that the religion-friendly Senator from Illinois was going to better Kerry's totals by 8-10%. (In June, even conservative Evangelical commentators were lamenting that he was going to take as much as 40% of the overall Evangelical vote). In the end, however, his gains were modest, but still significant. I'll spin this all into a narrative tomorrow.

Wow, 24% voted for Obama while 74-75% voted for McCain. Must be a mandate or something there for Obama...

But either way, it isn't the religiously insane voters I don't like,
It's the religiously insane candidates the republicans keep wanting to put into office, like Bush, Bush and Palin. I would included McCain but if he doesn't know which religion he believes in then how the hell would I know.

Any president that says "No, I don't know that atheists should be considered as citizens, nor should they be considered patriots" just because a person doesn't believe in his god should be run out of the country along with the people that would vote for the scummy @ss douche bag.
