President or Doofus?

Dear America,

In the photo above, the man on the left is PRESIDENTIAL. The man on the right is a DOOFUS.

Can we NOT elect another Doofus to be President? Please? 8 years of a Doofus President is enough!

Now I know our expectations for our president have been lowered considerably over the last 8 years. But is it too much to ask to have a president who speaks in complete sentences and acts in a dignified manner? That's setting the bar pretty low, but hey I'll take what I can get.

Let's not elect another DOOFUS for President!

Sen. John McCain makes a funny face as he exits the table following his debate with Sen. Barack Obama at Hofstra University in Hempstead, New York, on Oct. 15, 2008.

Re: President or Doofus?
I really do feel your pain. I remember back in 1992 when Ross Perot announced he was going to run for president. I was happy as hell when he did and even signed my name to get him added to the ballot here in Missouri. Finally, a third party candidate that might actually have a chance to win. Then he started campaigning. At first he did pretty good and I continued to be happy. Then he started in with all those charts and talking about "giant sucking sounds". My last opinion of him was 'this old f*cker is nuts!' I ended up voting for someone I never heard of and really couldn't tell you who it was today.

McSame reminds me a lot of Perot. He made "funny faces" all the way through the debate. Funny faces may be cute when little kids are doing them, but when a 72 year old man does it all I can say is, this old f*cker is nuts.

Re: President or Doofus?
.. Politics aside; referring to someone else as "nuts," or worse, is a common psychological means of reassuring ourselves, that the Big 'Me,' is normal!; though there Are cases where calling someone else a perjoritive reference, Is called for.

.. Ideally, one Should avoid, 'negative refererence, overkill'!; given that both Mssrs. McCain & Perot, are {or were} arguably too old for the presidency; or even displayed, 'odd' {by some standards} traits; it does Not follow, nor does it show sufficient respect for ones' fellow man, to refer to them {for example}, as 'f*ckers.'

Then again, hopefully, there will Always be a 'twain' between male 'bar talk,' and that which is uttered 'in polite {mixed} company.'..

To, "pazuzu": Matthew, 12:34-37- 12:34 ... for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh.

12:35 A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things.

12:36 But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment.

12:37 For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.

Re: President or Doofus?

yeah I liked perrot.

to me Pazu,, all that stuff with the charts and "sucking sounds" is just window dressing. You didn't like his schtick and that is fine. I personally could care LESS about that stuff, just let me look at the planks of his platform, that's all I need to know.

he wasn't bad. I'll say one thing,, he DID "look under the hood" and saw what was wrong and he intended to fix it.

that is why he was "taken out" with the threats on his daughter's life and all that. and that was the end of him. he learned not to messs with the big boys. Reminded me of the CIA drugging Senator Edmund Muskie to make him cry hysterically during a campaign speech when he ran for president and was winning in the polls. That worked TOO! He dropped out of the race the next day after that ugly incident. AND,,, he maintains that the CIA did do the drugging. and it was so AMAZING that the press never dwelled on that,, only that he cried a lot during his speech.

Well, not amazing at all,, it was a VERY carefully planned attack, including having the press on THEIR side to say it like THEY want. Worked like a charm. BTW, Paz, you can google that, you will see I am not exagerating that one bit. They know Muskie was drugged, and he is convinced it was the CIA. But he never did say - on behalf of WHO. smart move, they might bump him off like they did the kennedy brothers. (yup, same gang)

ya see, what we see as "wrong" with politics and always HOPE that it is just oversite by the Pols, is really what is RIGHT in washington as far as the GANG'S concerned. they run government like a scam, for themselves and their den of backdoor theives, lobby groups, etc etc. they just sit there, carve up America, leave us with the bill, and call it another successful day. Somebody bothers to point it out...? just rub him out or threaten him enough so that he "gets the message". And the people, they KNOW will never think for themselves. they have it MADE!

BTW, Ron Paul, the repbulican and former Libertarian,, aka, Dr. NO (He says NO to everything), is a lot like perrot in that he ADMITS the failings of our government and ran his campaign that way. Too bad he INDIRECTLY challenged one of the BIG BIG special interest groups by saying that our ME policy was the problem in the ME - implying he would CHANGE our ME policy.... That's it!

RIGHT AWAY... the smear campaign started, calling him a bigot, the whole 9 yards.

There was a headline right on DRUDGE REPORT, saying he wrote racist material for some library newsgroup.

So I read the article,,, which then said, they did not know for SURE who wrote those articles,,, yet the headline said he DID write them. that is slander if Paul wants to sue, as far as I can see.

But anyway, it is NO MISTAKE that DRUDGE slandered the guy.... he too, is one of the several powerful mothpieces for the powerful people that REALLY control america.

so much for yet another good, brave american.

It's going to take a revolution to get those murdering thieving bastids OUT.

Re: President or Doofus?
Greenjeans!

I have come to fill you with good cheer!

Behold!

That is from fivethirtyeight.com. A website run by statistical genius Nate Silver. Nate used statistical models to predict both the collapse of the White Sox after their World Series victory and the rise of this year's TB Rays. Impressive results indeed.

His political model also predicted the wide margin of victory for Obama in NC and the closer than expected race in Indiana in the primaries.

Nate is no joke or parrot.

Behold!

This image comes from www.electionprojection.com. Their track record includes predicting the 5 Democratic Senatorial gains in 2006, including the incredibly close races in Virginia and Montana, as well as predicting President Bush's victory over John Kerry within 1% of popular electoral votes.

Again, no joke or parrot.

Fear not true believer, America is ready for change. If you don't believe me, check out this:
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
But, as Ben Smith at Politico reveals, maybe the earnest quest to learn about the issues isn't actually the reason for the undecideds this year. Smith quotes an Obama canvasser in Philadelphia:

"What's crazy is this...I was blown away by the outright racism, but these folks are f***ing undecided. They would call him a n----r and mention how they don't know what to do because of the economy."

That's why we have a new term for the undecideds: The Racist Responsibles, or Double R's. They're too responsible to want to give the "tiller" to lunatics like McCain and Palin, but they're also too racist to be able to declare for Obama. It's a narrow subset, but they're out there.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Any questions?

Re: President or Doofus?
For, "RAPTOR"s 'info': Being loathed, by what the beginning of the same referenced verse, refers to as 'vipers'..{snakes; which I'd purposely left out}, is fine by me!

I guess that means that Even 'vipers' {albeit, in human form}, have their political likes/dislikes, heroes and villians.

For better or worse though, whenever 'vipers' such as yourselves, {pazuzu, RAPTOR}, are exposed to a small pertinent expose of God's 'Inspired Word,' you 'bravely' manage to cover your undoubtedly inner existential pain, {since it's your indwelling demons, that are ultimately being addressed}, with derision, attempted 'half-baked' character assassination, {sorry, it didn't work}, and the further energizing, of the Evil which dwells within you two, {for starters}.

That "DOORMAN"s and "grevillea's demons have Also been noticeably 'ticked off,' goes without saying! -- Consider it, one of the never-ending {warring}, 'Spiritual' laws, of 'cause-and-effect'; of which you're only aware of the seeming 'tit-for {bulletin board}-tat,' purely human, dimension.

.."For we battle Not, against flesh and blood; but principalities and powers, and Evil, in High places"{!} ..Some of those mostly mindless, online witchcraft/warcraft games, have 'got it right'!!

Re: President or Doofus?
I have tried and tried to rearrange this quote into a statement that even remotely makes sense and has basic readability.

I am unable to accomplish the task. Perhaps we could use this as a contest for the general population. Submit your offerings in another thread. This one has been polluted by whats in name.

You must use the exact words, no additions or subtractions. Punctuation is optional.

I just had another thought..........hom............ when you look into one of your mirrors(?) be aware that you are the opposite image of what you try to project. You are backwards {[!}}

Re: President or Doofus?
"RAPTOR": An expert, in English punctuation, I am Not!; but apparently, you were able to 'decode' its meaning!

As for you alluding to 'Inspired Scripture' as "garbage"; not knowing all that much about the 'infernal' regions, where you'd find All in agreement with you, on that point; I can only speculate, that DOORMAN's,{is that better?}, favorite reference to his own perceived enemies, 'eating shite,' {my own, 'e'-ending, florish}, is quite conceivably, one of the preferred methods of punishment, among its victims, down there; but, I'm just speculating.

In so many words, {as usual, 'IBIJ's 'take' to the contrary}, "HELL," is Not a desirous place to be{!}; with the possible exception of "grevillea," who might, {revolting description}, than have Anything to do with God/'JC'; or His considerable number of 'followers'!

Ps. "RAPTOR": Considering your expressed contempt and belittling, of any number of things I post; wouldn't that make Yourself, {the reader of my posts}, analogous to a person who regularly, & roundly, verbally trashes a 'greasy-spoon' eatery.. yet, is among its most faithful customers?! ..

NO, because if the food is not worth eating or if there is the same tired dried out fare then I wouldn't return just to see if the menu changed.

Re: President or Doofus?
"RAPTOR".. in reference to my 'analogous {his} regular reading of my posts, analogy: "NO, because if the food is not worth eating or if there is the same tired dried out fare then I wouldn't return just to see if the menu changed."

'HoM's reply; Either you don't know what the word analogous means, {or perhaps hoping, that others won't see your own reasoning, virtual disconnect}; you're being a 'contrarian,' for the sheer sake of it.. lest you be forced to concede my valid point; or, any combination of the above reasons!?

Ps. I pity 'pazuzu's {better, left unsaid!}.
