Reply | 27 Aug 2008, 01:30:03   The Coolest {most desirable} 'H.S.' Name, in "Rivals.com" 'Top 100' High School Football Teams My own pick.. see below, is #36 on their list: "Punahou" {Honolulu} I like their semi-exotic name; which I think, {not positive}, is the name of one of their last native Hawaiian kings. My least favorite{?}.. That's easy, #92 on 'rivals' list: "Cretin-Durham Hall" {St. Paul, Minnesota}; with, "Don Bosco Prep" {#3}, a close second, for tackiness; which gives rise to the question: 'Who the Hell, is "Don Bosco"'?! 1 Trinity Euless TX 1 vs John Curtis (LA) - 9/1 Trinity made a surprise run to win the Texas 5A Division I state title last season. They open this season against perennial power John Curtis (La.) 2 Armwood Seffner FL 2 @ Lake Gibson - 8/29 The Hawks hope to fly high this season as they switch to the spread attack on offense. The strength of the team will once again be defense. They feature one of the best front fours in the country with Ryne Giddins, Alton Bailey, Theo Jackson, and David Tinsley. 3 Don Bosco Prep Ramsey NJ 3 @ St. Xavier (OH) - 9/13 Don Bosco finds itself where it finished last season - ranked in the top five in the country. The Iron Men will earn it if they maintain this lofty ranking. They play at Cincinnati St. Xavier and California power De La Salle. 4 De La Salle Concord CA 4 @ Serra - 9/13 Three star cornerback Kylan Butler leads the Spartans. The winner of the De La Salle - Don Bosco Prep (N.J.) matchup should have an amazing season. 5 Byrnes Duncan SC 5 @ North Gwinnett (GA) - 8/29 Four-star wide receiver Ricco Sanders led Byrnes with 908 yards and 13 touchdowns last season. The competition stiffens this year with games against North Gwinnett (Ga.) and Pahokee (Fla.) 6 Bastrop Bastrop LA 6 @ Istrouma - 9/5 Morehouse Parish, La., reports a population of just under 13,000. It may be a small town, but it has the No. 6 high school football team in the country, and the No. 1 wide reciever in the class of 2009, Rueben Randle. 7 St. Thomas Aquinas Ft Lauderdale FL 8 vs Cardinal Gibbons -9/5 Coach George Smith enters his 32nd season at STA, and he could have one of his most talented teams. QB Ryan Becker has experience and plenty of weapons at his disposal. TE Gabrison Holmes, WR Dwayne Difton and Ohio State commitment Duron Carter lead the way. 8 Gateway Monroeville Pa 9 vs Penn Hills - 8/29 The Gateway Gators are making a name for themselves on the national scene. Featuring Dorian Bell and Corey Brown, both Ohio State commits, the Gators look to sink their teeth into a PIAA title. 9 Plano Plano TX 10 vs MacArthur - 8/29 After a few down seasons, Plano has returned to the national stage. Rex Burkhead is one of the top all-purpose backs in the country. The Wildcats look to make some serious noise in Texas. 10 Poly Long Beach CA 11 @ Miami Northwestern (FL) - 8/30 Last season, en route to the California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) – Southern Section Pac-5 championship, Poly's defense allowed only 24 points. However, many of those talented defenders are gone. Poly travels to Miami Northwestern to take on last year's National Champs in the opener. 11 Oscar Smith Chesapeake VA 12 vs Booker T. Washington - 8/29 The Tigers made a deep run into last year's playoffs before losing to eventual Division Six champion Westfield. This year, Oscar Smith returns four All-State players in the front seven: Virginia commit Perry Jones, Jerod Askew, Jarmara Gray and 2010 prospect Evan Hailes. 12 Union Tulsa OK 13 @ Broken Arrow - 9/5 Tulsa Union has many holes to fill entering the 2008 season. Fortunately for them, three-star athlete Terrell Williams moved into the district. 13 Desert Vista Phoenix AZ 14 @ Gilbert - 9/5 The top spot in Arizona is usually reserved for powerhouse Hamilton. However, this year Vista enters the season with the top backfield in the state. Vista also features the No.2 player in the country, Devon Kennard. 14 Prattville Prattville AL 15 @ Oxford - 8/23 Prattville has one of the earliest kickoffs of the teams in the top 20. They start with Oxford, and preseason No. 7 St. Xavier of Cincinnati awaits in Week 2. 15 Booker T. Washington Miami FL 16 vs Hamilton (AZ) - 8/29 Don't tell the Tornados they are going to drop off from 2008 form. Running back Eduardo Clements powered his way to 17 touchdowns as a sophomore and is poised for a breakout junior season. Games with Hamilton (Ariz.), Northside Warner Robins (Ga.) and Miami Northwestern will tell the tale this year. 16 Central Catholic Pittsburgh PA 17 @ Lakeland (FL) 9/1 Many view this season as a rebuilding year for the Vikings. Don't count out a team that's used to winning and is this well-coached. Another run at a WPIAL or PIAA title is not out of the question. Back-to-back games against Woodland Hills and Penn Hills will make or break the season for Central Catholic. 17 North Shore (Galena Park ) Houston TX 18 vs Katy - 8/29 The Blackshirts are back. Defensive tackle Thaddeaus Randle, a Nebraska commit, looks to lead this group of Blackshirts to the promised land before heading off to Lincoln, Neb. Starting the season with Katy will be no small task. 18 Deerfield Beach Deerfield Bch FL 19 @ Hollywood Hills - 9/4 The Bucks return a lot of talent from a team that nearly knocked off Miami Northwestern last season. Denard Robinson and Cassius McDowell lead the way for Deerfield Beach, which has as much speed as any team in South Florida. 19 Pahokee Pahokee FL 20 vs Olive Branch (MS) - 8/30 Small schools everywhere rejoice: Pahokee is legit. The Class 2B power looks to continue kicking down the door to national respect as they open the season against Olive Branch - one of the best teams in Mississippi. A midseason matchup at Byrnes (SC) is also on the schedule. 20 Lowndes Valdosta GA 21 vs Woodland - 8/29 Four-star corner Greg Reid and three-star safety Gerald Demps patrol the secondary for this 5A power. That should make it tough for opponents to move the ball through the air. 21 Apopka Apopka FL 23 vs Lake Brantley - 9/5 The Blue Darters are a squad that can light up the scoreboard. Michigan commit Jeremy Gallon will line up at quarterback, running back, or in the slot at times as they work in athlete Caleb Nelson. The defense is anchored by the linebacking core of Larvez (Pooh Bear) Mars, Bradley Gallon and Joe Devis. 22 South Panola Batesville MS 24 @ Vicksburg - 8/29 Having the nation's longest winning streak helped this team earn a spot in the top 25. The Tigers are looking to reload this year, and will need to jell before back-to-back games against Apopka (Fla.) and at Olive Branch. 23 Centennial Corona CA 25 @ Chaparral - 9/12 Centennial nearly knocked off De La Salle in last year's State Bowl Championship, and nothing less than a return trip will do for the Huskies. Vontaze Burfict is back after leading the team with 162 tackles, four sacks and two interceptions in 2007. 24 Lake Travis Austin TX 26 vs Westwood - 8/29 One of the top teams in the country has the luxury of relying on one of the top arms in the country, Garrett Gilbert. Lake Travis has the talent - and favorable schedule - to have a solid season. 25 Edison Fresno CA 27 @ Madera - 9/5 Fresno is an area of California that has been fairly underrated on the national landscape for years. However, a Tiger team led by Rolando Jefferson, Cliff Harris, and T.J. McDonald certainly has our attention. 26 Timpview Provo UT 28 vs Spanish Fork - 8/29 Timpview opened the 2008 season in less than impressive fashion with a 10-6 win over Pleasant Grove. They will need to show marked improvement to run through the rest of Utah. 27 Colerain Cincinnati OH 29 @ McKeesport (PA) - 8/30 Colerain overcame a couple of turnovers and made a big stop to defeat the injury depleted St. Xavier 13-8. 29 Glenville Academic Campus Cleveland OH 41 @ Thomas Jefferson (PA) - 9/1 Glenville narrowly escaped the match-up with St. Ignatius 20-17, but it did put the rest of Ohio on notice that the Tarblooders are for real. 30 Skyline Issaquah WA 31 vs Sheldon (OR) - 9/6 The defending 3A state champs are moving to 4A, where they will still be the favorites. However, the King-Co is the power of Washington high school football this season with Bothell, Eastlake and now Skyline. 31 Stone Bridge Ashburn VA 32 vs West Springfield - 8/29 The defending Division five champs look to go back-to-back in Virginia - and they certainly have the talent on defense to do it. The Bulldogs welcome back four DI commits in Zach Thompson (Wake Forest), Brian Slay (NC State), David Wang (Virginia Tech) and Mike Olson (Wake Forest). 32 Northwestern Miami FL 33 vs Long Beach Poly (CA) - 8/30 At some point the Bulls have to drop off, right? Last year's Bulls may have been one of the most talented high school teams of all time, dropping a bit may be expected. However, the Bulls may still make it a three-peat in Florida's 6A class. 33 Rider Wichita Falls TX 34 @ Cedar Hill - 9/5 Wichita Falls Rider, like many schools in Texas, is loaded with talent. However, this team - unlike many others - has two members of the Rivals250 in the class of 2009. Dual-threat quarterback Shavodrick Beaver and four-star athlete Jurell Thompson are the standouts. 34 Mater Dei Santa Ana CA 35 vs Carson - 9/3 The nations No. 1 prospect, Matt Barkley, calls Mater Dei home. Games against Corona Centennial and Huntington Beach Edison may determine whether we call him a winner. 35 Hamilton Chandler AZ 36 @ Booker T. Washington (FL) - 8/29 Arizona football has gotten progressively better, and this year Hamilton will have the opportunity to make a big statement with an opening week matchup with Booker T. Washington (Fla.) 36 Punahou Honolulu HI 37 @ St. Louis - 9/13 Punahou is loaded entering the 2008 season and is poised to take the Hawaiian title. With the No. 1 ranked inside linebacker in the nation Manti Te'o stuffing the run, it could be a long season for Punahou opponents. 37 Birmingham Van Nuys CA 38 vs Garfield - 9/4 The Patriots are well coached and they know how to win. They also know it is in their best interest to get the ball into the hands of De'Von Flournoy, who has racked up 1,482 yards and 22 touchdowns through the air the last two seasons. 38 Thomas Jefferson Jefferson Hills PA 39 @ Glenville (OH) - 9/1 The Jaguars will open the season at the Friends of Coal Classic in West Virginia against Cleveland Glenville. This is most likely their toughest game of the season, so another run to the PIAA 3A title is not out of the question. 39 Stony Point Round Rock TX 40 vs S.A. Alamo Heights - 8/28 Round Rock Stony Point is one of the deeper teams in the top half of the rankings. There are plenty of solid football players on the roster. They are led by 6-foot-1 quarterback Nyk McKissic. 40 Mission Viejo Mission Viejo CA 42 @ Baldwin (HI) - 8/29 Coach Bob Johnson knows quarterbacks, and he certainly has a good one in four star QB Allan Bridgford. The schedule lines up well for Mission Viejo to make a run at a CIF Bowl game. 41 Mentor Mentor OH 43 @ Strongsville - 8/28 The Cardinals opened with a 34-20 win over Cardinal Mooney. Mentor should be looking at a 3-0 record as they head into a Week 4 game with St. Ignatius. 42 Allen Allen TX 44 vs Longview - 8/29 The Allen Eagles are one of the most talented teams in Texas, having at least eight players who will sign with DI schools. However, having Longview, Euless Trinity, and Plano on the schedule could provide for a few losses. 43 Los Alamitos Los Alamitos CA 45 vs Mayfair - 9/11 Like many top programs in California, the Griffins have a quarterback who is DI material. Clark Evans, a Colorado commit, will have plenty of time to get into a groove before a late October showdown with Huntington Beach Edison. 44 Brentwood Academy Brentwood TN 46 @ Ravenwood - 8/29 Following a 27-14 win over Independence, BA must get ready for a Ravenwood team who lost a disappointing Week 0 game. 45 St. Xavier Cincinnati OH 7 vs Prattville (AL) - 8/30 Injuries, graduation, and turnovers really cost the Bombers against Colerain. They have to hope the injury situation improves as Prattville (AL) will certainly be looking for a major interstate win. 46 Crespi Encino CA 47 vs Northridge (UT) - 8/30 Crespi made a surprising run to the Southern Section Pac 5 Championship last season behind sophomore quarterback Bryan Bennett. This year's squad will be the hunted, not the hunter. Their 11-3 record in 2007 may be hard to duplicate. Back-to-back games against Servite and St. Bonaventure are circled on the schedule. 47 Mt. Carmel Chicago IL 48 vs Curie - 8/30 Mt. Carmel has had some near misses climbing the Chicagoland ladder, but this could very well be their year. Led by QB Jordan Lynch, the Caravan has what it takes in 2008. 48 Inkster Inkster MI 49 vs Highland Park - 9/6 Michigan football is fairly deep this season, and the Vikings look to prove they are the best in the state. Lead by four-star receiver Cameron Gordon, the Vikings close the season with three consecutive road games. 49 Maryville Maryville TN 50 @ Alcoa - 8/29 Maryville got their tune-up victory over Halls 28-7, but must put on their gameface as a showdown with Alcoa awaits. 50 Lutheran Orange CA 51 vs Bullard - 9/6 Despite a disappointing 2-0 loss to Poly in the Pac 5 semis last season, Orange Lutheran has a lot to look forward to in 2008. Two dominant defensive lineman, Kapono Asuega and defensive end Mike Arakelian, return to lead the way. 51 Carroll Southlake TX 52 @ Plano West - 8/29 On the heels of a 2007 season that saw the Dragons play a nationally televised game and send eight players to DI schools, Southlake Carroll is just outside the Top 50. Lead by Missouri commit Brayden Burnett, the Dragons could move up as the season progresses. 52 Phoebus Hampton VA 53 @ Maury - 8/28 Phoebus enters the list as the third team from Virginia, but it would be no surprise to see them creep up higher. Quarterback Tahj Boyd is a great leader and should have the Phantoms back in the Division Five state title game. 53 Plant Tampa FL 54 vs Wharton - 8/29 The Plant Panthers' season rides on the arm of Elite 11 MVP quarterback Aaron Murray. Murray threw for more than 4,000 yards and 51 touchdowns as a junior. 54 West Monroe West Monroe LA 55 @ Thibodaux - 9/5 West Monroe has some things to prove in Louisiana this season, but having one of the best LBs in the country will help its case. Four-star prospect Barkevious Mingo should help rack up the wins. 55 Katy Katy TX 56 @ North Shore - 8/29 Coming off a Texas 5A title, the Tigers will be hard-pressed to repeat after losing all world running back Aundre Dean. It also doesn't help that they open the season at Galena Park North Shore. 56 Jenks Jenks OK 57 vs Bixby - 9/5 Fresh off of another 6A state title, Jenks has several holes to fill. However, this squad is still one of the most talented in the state, led by four-star cover man Gabe Lynn. 57 Quince Orchard North Potomac MD 58 @ Wootton - 9/6 Winning the Class 4 state title last year certainly was an achievement for Quince Orchard. Going back-to-back would be exponentially better. Having three of the top nine players in the state will help the team's cause. 58 O'Dea Seattle WA 59 @ West Seattle - 9/19 O'Dea generally puts out more DI talent than any school in Washington, and this year is no different. Led by Zach Fogerson, this team has multiple players with DI offers. The offensive and defensive lines average over 275 pounds. 59 Eden Prairie Eden Prairie MN 60 @ Jefferson - 8/28 Rarely the team with the top-ranked player in the state, Eden Prairie continues to win by being the best team in Minnesota. Minnetonka could challenge them in early October, but it is what happens in November that counts. 60 Williamson Mobile AL 62 @ Vigor - 8/29 Williamson returns several top players and look to elevate their game ahead of Prattville to the No. 1 spot on Alabama. 61 Our Lady Of Good Counsel Wheaton Md NR @ Lead by 5 star LB Jelani Jenkins Good Councel has the talent to take on anyone in the Northeast. 62 Northside School Warner Robins GA 63 vs Perry - 8/29 Northside Warner Robins starts the season as the No. 2 team in Georgia, but it has a major question mark at quarterback. A pair of four-star players on defense should help the Eagles soar toward the title game. 63 North Miami Beach N Miami Beach FL 64 @ Jackson - 9/5 What the Chargers lack in top tier-talent and depth they make up for in being a solid team. They play well together and are well coached. Nico Flores is electrifying under center and is certainly one to watch in the Sunshine State. 64 Booker T. Washington Tulsa OK 65 vs Carl Albert - 9/5 The Hornets are stacked with talent this season and should have no problem coasting to a District 3 title. Michael Doctor will have to have a solid year if they want to make a run at a Class 5 state title. 65 Rockhurst Kansas City MO 66 @ Blue Springs South - 8/31 The class of Missouri football this season is Rockhurst. Ranking them at No. 66 is probably a little low with the talent that they have. However, if they can get wins against Blue Springs South, Hutchinson (Kan.), and Mullen (Colo.) it will have them climbing this list. 66 Olive Branch Olive Branch MS 67 @ Pahokee - 8/30 Olive Branch has played second fiddle to South Panola in Mississippi for several years. This year, however, the Conquistadors feel like they can take the state back. They will get an early season test from Pahokee (Fla.) before the meat of the schedule. 67 St. Peter's Prep Jersey City NJ 68 @ St. Joe's Regional - 9/12 Seemingly always the bridesmaid and never the bride, St. Peter's annually has to deal with Don Bosco's success. St. Peter's is still a very good team and deserves to be mentioned nationally. 68 Bear Creek Lakewood CO 70 @ Timber Creek - 8/29 Coach Tom Thenell's son Zach returns as the starting quarterback after throwing for 3,200 yards and 33 TDs as a sophomore last fall. Tommy Flanagan, the most versatile running back in the state, also returns. 69 East St. Louis East Saint Louis IL 72 @ Wayne (Oh.) - 8/31 There may be no more appropriate nickname this year than the Flyers of East St. Louis. This team is fast, and will certainly be flying up and down the field. Paced by two four-star wide receivers, look for the Flyers to make a move up the rankings. 70 Edison Huntington Beach CA 73 @ Cabrillo - 9/5 The Chargers kept their focus on the Hawaiian Islands by beating Lahainaluna handily 43-10. They return stateside to take on Cabrillo. 71 Trinity Louisville KY 74 @ Bowling Green - 9/5 Apparently Trinity could not get enough of playing St. Xavier. They chose to also schedule St. Xavier of Cincinnati to go with Battle of Louisville foe St. X. Four-star linebacker Jordan Whiting is one of the best in the country. 72 Upland Upland CA 75 @ Colony - 9/5 Upland is in a fairly good situation this season with Josh Nunes at quarterback and three members of the secondary heading to DI schools. 73 St. Bonaventure Ventura CA 76 @ Santa Margarita - 9/5 Like many teams in California, St. Bonaventure has an uber-talented player in five-star athlete Patrick Hall. Back-to-back games with Crespi and Long Beach Poly will be measuring-stick games. 74 Saguaro Scottsdale AZ 77 @ Prescott - 9/5 A lot of respect has been gained by Arizona football recently, and some of that respect has to be given to back-to-back Class 4AI champ Saguaro. Four-star defensive tackle Corey Adams will lead the Sabercat quest for three in a row. 75 Madison Madison FL 78 vs Independence (NC) - 9/5 Madison County returns 14 starters - including the top player in the state, Jacobbi McDaniel - from a team that went 14-1 and won the state championship last season. The only thing holding them back nationally is that they don't play the Miami area teams. An opening game against Independence (N.C.) will allow them to show their muscle in an interstate showdown. 76 Buford Buford GA 79 @ Mansfield Timberview (TX) - 8/30 Buford won Georgia's Class 2A championship game last season 50-0. Four-star guard Dallas Lee will pave the way for the offense this season. 77 St. Joseph's Philadelphia PA 80 @ Parkland - 8/29 The power of the Philadelphia Catholic League can compete in almost any state or conference - and they are ranked accordingly. 78 Montgomery Bell Academy Nashville TN 81 vs Moeller (OH) - 8/31 MBA simply overmatched Antioch in the 2008 opener, 45-19. They get a shot to move up the rankings this week as they take on Moeller (OH). 79 Moeller Cincinnati OH 82 @ MBA (TN) - 8/31 Moeller started out by knocking Princeton out of the rankings. They must turn right around and take on Montgomery Bell (TN). 80 Naples Naples FL 83 vs Monsignor Pace - 9/5 Coming off of an undefeated season, expectations are high for the Eagles. They return a plethora of talented players, including two of the most explosive backs in the state (Greg Pratt and Ohio State commitment Carlos Hyde). 81 St. Ignatius Cleveland OH 61 @ Northmont - 8/29 St. Ignatius was supposed to be one of the top teams in Ohio, we learned this week that Glenville was still holding down that spot. The Wildcats have a few games to lick their wounds before taking on Mentor Sept. 13. 82 Carter Dallas TX 84 vs Lancaster - 8/29 Moving down in classification may be exactly what former 5A power Dallas Carter needs to get back to form. Texas A&M commit Chris Hendersen would love a deep run in the state playoffs to end his high school career. 83 East Grand Rapids Grand Rapids MI 85 vs St. Mary Prep East Grand Rapids opens its season with fellow RivalsHigh 100 member Orchard Lake St. Mary Prep for the right to stay in the top 100. Expect 6-foot-4 tight end Chris Blair to have a big day. 84 Destrehan Destrehan LA 86 @ Karr, Edna - 9/5 Destrehan made an impressive run in 2007 and ended the year 15-0 with the 5A state championship. However, in 2008 they must deal with the loss of many of their top players. They return only five starters on offense. Fortunately, four of the returners are on the offensive line. 85 Har-Ber Springdale AR 87 @ Greenwood - 9/5 The Wildcats are a scrappy bunch that knows how to play football. They rallied to win the Hoover 7-on-7 last month and really impressed. 86 Grant Sacramento CA 88 @ Montgomery - 9/5 Grant is the best team in Sacramento, but does it belong in the discussion for the top 100 teams in the country? We will soon find out. 87 Independence Charlotte NC 89 vs Olympic - 8/29 Typically a top team in North Carolina, the Independence Patriots are the lone representative from the Tar Heel state in this list. The Measuring stick for North Carolina football may be Week 2 when Independence takes on Madison County (Fla.). 88 Blue Springs South Blue Springs MO 90 vs Rockhurst - 8/31 Playing in the shadow of Rockhurst has been tough for Blue Springs South. A very good team, Blue Springs gets it crack at Rockhurst in the first game of the season. 89 Cairo Cairo GA 91 @ Bainbridge - 8/26 Reginald Bryant will pace the Syrupmakers - yes Syrupmakers - this season. After suffering a difficult 16-13 loss in the 3A state title game last year, Cairo is ready to go this season. 90 Servite Anaheim CA 92 @ St. Paul - 9/5 The Friars do not have a long list of superstar players and play in a tough conference. However, they have plenty of time to gear up for Matre Dei and Orange Lutheran. 91 Elder Cincinnati OH 98 vs Aquinas - 8/30 Elder won their Week 1 matchup with Middletown 38-19. While the score is impressive the quality of opponent doesn't exactly make the season for Elder. 92 Cretin-Derham Hall Saint Paul MN 93 vs Forest Lake - 8/29 The Raiders have a solid base to build on despite several key losses. But with Marcus Binns and Seantrel Henderson leading things on the ground, Cretin-Derham Hall should remain among the Minnesota elite. 93 Hutchinson Hutchinson KS 94 @ Rockhurst (MO) - 9/5 Hutchinson, to no one's surprise, went 13-0 and won the state title last season. This year, they return 53 letter winners - including all-state defensive lineman Forrest Stuckey. 94 Centennial Peoria AZ 95 @ Desert Ridge - 9/5 The Coyotes are going for a three-peat in Arizona 5AII. It may be a little more difficult this year without having any of the top-30 players in the state. 95 South Pointe Rock Hill SC 96 @ Mann - 8/29 The transfer of DeVonte Hollman to South Pointe may give the team the best secondary in the state. Stephone Gilmore was already a standout in the defensive backfield. South Pointe will get to make its case in Week 3, when they visit 2007 Class 4 Division II winner Clover. 96 Arrowhead Hartland WI 99 vs Hale - 8/29 Arrowhead won the Division I state title in Wisconsin fairly easily last year (30-7 over Homestead). Repeating that feat this season will keep them in the national rankings. 97 St. Mary's Orchard Lake MI 97 @ East Grand Rapids - 8/28 Offensive weapons Justin Semmes and Dion Sims will make for an interesting season in Orchard Lake. 98 Coldwater Coldwater OH NR @ Kokomo - 8/29 Coldwater dismantled Kenton on Friday night, 58-19, to earn their way into the rankings. To stay they will need to beat Marion Local in three weeks. 99 Carmel Carmel IN NR vs Lebanon - 8/29 Carmel makes the rankings debut for the state of Indiana following their 28-21 victory over Indianapolis Cathedral. 100 Bellevue Bellevue WA 100 @ Central Catholic (OR) - 9/6 Bellevue is one of the best teams in the state of Washington almost every season. They return RB Peter Nguwen who has Division-I offers. Last season, Bellevue lost to Skyline by six and O'Dea by 10 points. Ps. In the 'Real world,' I don't give high school {American} football, the proverbial, 'time-of-day'! {well, maybe just a little!}.. |
