Reply | 22 Jul 2008, 12:51:03   Proof the CIA KNEW Iraq had no Nukes Judge for yourself. Right now, according to American Intel, Iran is 3-10 years away from making their first nuclear bomb. Iran has had so many working facilities for so long a time, the locations of which have passed from top secret, to open secret, and eventually, to publicly accessible information. Iran's nuclear facilities are in the cities of: Anarak, Arak, Ardakan, Bonab, Bushehr, Chalus, Darkovin, Isfahan, Karaj, Lashkar Abad, Lavizan, Natanz, Parchin, Saghand, Tehran and Yazd. These facilities see thousands of workers go in and out every day, and that cannot be missed. Now, is anyone naive enough to believe that if Iraq actually had a nuclear program that was producing nuke bombs - as was implied by George Bush, that American intel and Western intel in general, would not know the whereabouts of these facilities? Hardly! Consider that America, the UN, England, Israel, Russia, and others have had Iraq covered by very sophisticated spy satellites for quite some time. Nobody could miss that much activity and that many large facilities. Also consider, that three of our allies with live intel in Iraq - Russia, France, and Germany, all said that Iraq did not have large quantities of WoMD, nor a nuclear program. The end result is this... we now know looking in retrospect that American Intel never had hard evidence of nuclear facilities in Iraq - to the point where, I am convinced they knew that Iraq had no nukes, and no nuclear facilities,,, period. Also, to make war grade fissionable material, Iraq would have to import some very sophisticated equipment, such as the components of the many cascades of centrifuges they would need, the very same centrifuges that the US points out that Iran now possesses. But in Iraq's case, all Washington ever "accused" them of acquiring was aluminum tubes that even many of Bush's administration officials thought could not be useful in making fissionable material. Further stated, "The DOE experts also pointed out that if these tubes were actually intended for centrifuges, there should be evidence of attempts by the Iraqis to acquire hundreds of thousands of other very specific components, but no such evidence existed. This critique of the CIA interpretation was seconded by the State Department's intelligence branch and, independently, by an international group of centrifuge experts advising the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA)." http://www.webexhibits.org/bush/9.html When Hans Blix, chief inspector for the UN, was told by the Bush admin to halt inspections and get out of Iraq because the US was going to invade, Bush was asked by the media why he would not let the UN finish its job. His response..... "We ain't waitin' around for this to end up in a mushroom cloud". Tell the truth, George - you weren't waiting around for the UN to prove that Iraq had no nukes. I rest my case. President George Bush of the United States is charged with treason. How do you, the jury, find the defendant, George, W. Bush? |

Reply | 22 Jul 2008, 15:14:14   Re: Proof the CIA KNEW Iraq had no Nukes .. You just made an appreciably better case, for finding a guilty 'party' in the 'CIA,' whose mission and supposed expertise, involves interpreting foreign intelligence. .. Unfortunately, I have to assume that 'VP' Cheney's repeated visits to the 'CIA' 'HQ,' {according to some 'reports,' for the purpose of cajoling and 'tweaking' intelligence interpretation}, will forever remain top-level, classified info.; if the "minutes" of what transpired at those 'meetings,' haven't long-since been destroyed! .. To find 'GW' guilty, the persons, hypothetically charged with prosecuting him, would need to "prove" his intent to deceive, in the very specialized & arcane area of satellite-image interpretation; which, along with Pres. Bush's famous/notorious inability to even correctly conjugate verbs, and the like; how in the world could he be found guilty of deception/lying {going back, to 'proving' intent}, when there was a minimum 6-week interval, {perhaps longer}, between the ending of U.N. inspections, and the U.S. led invasion{!?} .. Also, I think that it was more substantitive than a 'wive's tale,' that an alleged Russian convoy of trucks," {and Not your average 'commercial' convoy}, was spotted by our satellites, headed from various Iraqi 'off-limits' facilities.. to Syria, in that long interim period. .. Even aside from the matter of whether or not, 'Sadam' was actually trying to develop 'nukes'; all during that 'inspection' episode, and even before & after; the Iraqi armed forces, were shooting at our 'U.N.' mandated, U.S. Air Force, overflights of Iraq; which by any stretch of international-law, IS sufficient cause to go to war over, in-and-of itself! ..In a 'nutshell', your impeachment proposal is a glorified- 'Feel-Good,' looking-backwards, politically-inspired, 'blame game'.. that would almost assuredly acquit your hoped for 'bogey-man,' "Bush"; while our other pressing national problems, are left out to 'hang- and-dry,' in an even more preposterous sense! {Nothing personal, 'mind you'!}. |

Reply | 22 Jul 2008, 18:59:41   Re: Proof the CIA KNEW Iraq had no Nukes Ok, so I take it that's a "NO" vote. no problem, pazuzu will cancel you out But seriously, DOE experts, the State Department's intelligence branch, and an international group of centrifuge experts advising the International Atomic Energy Agency - all testified that there was NO evidence of Iraq attempting to get the hundreds of thousands of parts necessary to make certain scientific instruments/implements in order to to persue nuclear energy. Does that not tell you that Iraq had no such nuclear program? It does me. As far as the US flying over Iraq and being fired on.... if the chinese or russians violated OUR airspace, we'd fire back, too. Oh, and how many US craft were taken out.... ZERO? that's worth killling hundreds of thousands of Iraqis? Please! If ONE was your child, my, how that opinion would change! as far as Iraq defying UN authorizing to have US aircraft over Iraq, agian, big deal. Israel has defied UN orders to get out of the occupied lands since 1967. should the UN and a collaition of forces bomb Israel, too.? hmmmm..... wait a minute! |
