.. I'll make this 'short but sweet'; of the several news items that I was curious enongh to link up to, referenced in this post's subject line; one concerned a retired "NBA" {pro basketball} player, {his name escapes me, but he wasn't a 'top-tier' marquee player}, who allegedly had 10 kids, by 8 different women; and he's refusing to pay support to one of them... whereupon, the child's biological mother, is suing him in court.
 
.. For the record, his defense in refusing to pay child-support, for this one kid; is that he now finds himself, {despite his one-time, multi-million $ contract}, "on broke-ass mountain."
 
..What am I relating this for?! ..oh well, it IS a 'BB' space-filler; plus, consider it a tip {of sorts}, for those of you who were unaware that numerous phrases, {common, not-so-common, and even offbeat}, can be researched {ie. 'news-googled'; top-of-page, search-engine, on "Google News"}, if per chance, you're curious to see how a given phrase was used, in a news reporting context{!?}
