To, 'IBIJ,' Just curious, as to what are the differences in.. {here it comes!} Scriptural 'INTERPRETATION,' that prevents the 'S.D.A.'s {7th-Day Adventists; your own denomination}, and the "Jehovah's Witnesses," from merging into one 'True' {he-he} church, or, assembly of believers? .. They seem to 'mirror' each other, in More ways than one; including their recital of sorts, through constant repetition; that apparently.. All other denominations have..{in so many words}, diluted {to one degree, or another} the 'True Message' of the Bible{!?} .. Please pay more attention, though, to the first paragraph.. {in the form of a question}, when answering{!} ..Thanks! |

As I've said more than once, when people read what they want into Scripture rather than accepting it for exactly what it says their is grave danger. I want to worship on whatever day I choose, so I take the Scripture that says the Sabbath was made for man and not many for the Sabbath and make my stand. The only problem is no matter how you slice it this verse simply does not say anything about what day we are or are not free to worship on. I want to go to Heaven immediately upon death, despite the fact that their are so many references in Scripture to sleep and death being joined at the hip. Not the least of these would be the entire chapter of 1 Corinthians 15 where we read about the "twinkling of an eye". My friend, if that event has already happened you and I are toast! I want to follow what I want to follow out of the Bible, despite the fact that there are numerous references to God's people both having a testimony for him and following His commandments including #4 in Exodus 20. Until we put aside what "I (or you) want" and follow God as He has instructed there will indeed be "hell" to pay. Cheers IBIJ |
