One of those films to watch, when you just want to relax on the couch in front of the telly for a couple of hours. Not a great deal happens..it's the simple story of 5 taxi cab trips in 5 cities. But strangely compelling. The films opens with a song from Tom Waits, which is sung from the point of view of a dead man, who owns nothing more than a pocketful of flowers on his grave. Returning home , during October's last, [haloween?] he reflects that he would like to float his chances on the tide, back in the good old world.
