Ps. Bobby was right about a limited number of things; including his contention that "Fischerandom" {aka-chess-960, I think!?} represented a superior and less 'drawish' evolution of chess!! Pps. Anything to get us away from those arguably 'damnable' rote-openings, memorizations!! |

Reply | 14 Feb 2008, 03:20:38 In reply to gammaburst Re: Fischer memorial is official so now you've given me an idea but no, the fischer memorial should not be played with fischer random. it should be a high-class classical tournament--with good lighting...the three top young players (karjakin --pronounced --car-jackin' :P, radjabov, and carlsen), three top three (anand, kramnik, topalov), and three 'deservers' (kamsky, ivanchuck, morozevich), and one special kick-ass guest--me...no, kasparov. That would roun out the top ten. I have not made my first million but i'm on my way, and support or spread the above idea around because it seems reasonable to all parties. i'm such a canadian.
