One month warning received today
I just received my one month alert... shall I renew? The chances are better that Obama will be President than that I will renew. Celebrate as you will, for this "religious zealot" is about to vanish forever from Caissa. No not rapture... funny how people come up with terms that don't even exist in the entire Bible. But in this case it's a simple situation of not renewing my membership.

My hope remains that some shall take my words on forward with them and research things out for themselves.

Cheers

Re: One month warning received today
It should be obvious that your efforts have been in vain. I joined caissa two years ago with an ambivalent attitude to god. My thoughts were ..maybe there is a god, most likely not. It was not a daily issue, not even monthly. Just christmas and easter. Two years on, and I'm a rabid ranting atheist. Overall, your presence at caissa has been interesting, I will concede that, but I doubt that anyone will mourn your departure. This is not the place for relentless personal blogs , even less so for hi jacking others' posts with your religious diatribes. You can take a lot of the blame for the decline of the BB. Caissa will survive with or without you. My bet is that you will renew. However, Admin Brian is planning to add a chimney to the caissa main page, and in one month time , a little puff of white smoke, will slowly emerge, then dissipate. To rapturous applause.

Re: One month warning received today
..I knew all along that we All 'live' in our own 'little worlds'..
where not surprisingly, to Each and Every person's perspective,
it seems as if the Universe revolves around 'the Big Me'!

..Thankyou, 'IBIJ'.. for confirming my suspicions, that not only is
anyone else fixated on 'me', to the extent that I am..{and indeed,
each of us are, as it relates to ourselves!}, but rest assured that
No One {besides yourself, and maybe.. your 'better-half'} should
logically give a 'tinkers damn' {no offense}, whether you renew here,
or not! ..D-u-h! {common ending, to any quite obvious point}.

Hi Grrrr

Such is not the case with everyone on this site. I do have a handful of truth seekers who are moving and reconnecting with me on ItsYourTurn.com.

My job is to preach God's Word to the best of my ability. That I have done. The Holy Spirit will keep prompting you all the days of your life and it is your choice to continue to ignore or embrace Him into your life. You currently claim to rebel and refuse, I can only hope that it will not remain this way always. It is however your choice, just as it has always been.

Happy Sabbath

Hi Gburst

This said from the chief poster of posters who posts a pluthra of topics that no one has asked to hear anything about. Quite amusing. However just as Grrrr is incorrect so be you, else there would not be those moving to ItsYourTurn.com with me.

Hi TP

At last a word of encouragement, lol. Okay, if you raise the price of a year's membership and forwarded it to me thru PayPal I'll renew. I'm guessing that's not going to happen, but you never know. After all, we already have nearly half of 50 cents covered.

Should we call this my Caissa campaign... LOL... I'm a bit doubtful of a positive outcom though.

Re: One month warning received today
I will never become a christian. Never. God does not exist. There is no holy spirit. You can keep your imaginary relationship with your imaginary god. It's not for me. I get a little peeved at your persistence for my conversion. Stop wasting your time. I am comforted by the expectation that in a thousand years from now, christianity will be on the way out, and will be viewed in the same light as the Greek and Roman gods are today. IE ; old fashioned ignorance.

Re: One month warning received today
I had no idea you were taking some of the hapless, hopeless, brainless, former Kaissans with you. Congratulations on making this month's quota of new recruits. I must say I'm skeptical since the fundies that post don't generally agree with anything you say. You and jebus did debate on what hell is for more than 25 posts. Riveting conversation no doubt.

Even commaburst thinks your full of yourself, and he outta know.

I say go little bo peep, go david koresh, go jim jones, lead your flock to the promised land of ItYourTurn.com.

It sounds like it's going to be our turn here at Caissa.

Note to AdminBrian: We still need that filter--googleburst and alias are still here.

Hi Grrrr

Now you've done it... you used the word "never". Anytime I've used that word in my life I find that life has an interesting way of changing things. I may never know of your conversion should it take place, until we meet in eternal paradise. The Apostle Paul murdered Christians until He became one of the strongest proponents for Christianity after his Damascus road conversion. May your own Damascus road unviel the mysteries of God's kingdom to you as well.

Hi TP

You are indeed quite generous. But when it comes down to the brass tacks of the situation I'm not looking for any miracles here as it is my time to depart Caissa. As SC put it, it's time for this board to be bombarded by useless nonsense once again. I do take responsiblity for cleaning it up, but keeping it clean is now the sole responsibility of GoogleBurst should he care to do so.

Re: One month warning received today
LOL -- it seems no one else is hearing your plea, so I have a solution.

Challenge me to a game on ItsYourTurn.com and we can continue our dialog's there. It's a free site there, so no more need to raise funds to keep me here.

None-the-less, if you are somehow able to raise 25$ within the remainder of this month and forwarded it to my paypal account I'll be glad to renew. That's pretty much the bottom line.

Re: One month warning received today
..I'm referring to the 'idea' of members voluntarily leaving this
site 'in general'.. but, unless one is experiencing 'semi-dire,'
{personal} 'economic-straits'.. now that the 'New' site is more
'up-and-running' than not..{ie. No 'BB' filter, and 'MIP' access}
..Personally, I Don't consider those present defeciencies as
necessitating renewing at the 'going-rate' for Both sites access,
at the somewhat 'steep' $50 per year.

..And if someone can't afford $25 per year for the 'New Caissa'
alone, then I question their devotion to playing the 'live-game'
chess option!
..Comparing "free" 'Turn-based' Web sites to 'live-game' sites, is
sort of like substituting apples for tomatoes in your diet, because
tomatoes are supposedly Too expensive{!?}

Ps. Now that I'm playing on the 'New Caissa' almost exclusively,
I Like, Not having to 'click-the-clock' after each move; plus,
the 'classic caissa' chess pieces, now seem strangely narrow and
'odd-looking'! {True}

Re: One month warning received today
Hi Gburst

You got me red handed. As the game of chess goes, it simply does not rank high enough for me to invest $35... $25... $10... or even $1.95 in. My life has simply taken a totally different direction where paying to play games just doesn't fit. I'll do the free gig, and that probably tells everyone the level of importance I place on game playing. Uh oh, the secrets out now.

I have found that when something is free, the price is way to high.

Re: One month warning received today
Hi PG

I would tend to agree to a point. However, considering that much of my lifelihood is based off of giving things away for free I would conclude that it certainly does depend on the situation. However, with ItsYourTurn.com they would be more than pleased to set you up with a paying account for $50 per year giving you far more than you get from this site. I'll stick with the free option as it suits me quite well.
