Have you ever taken the time to calulate all the prophecies within God's Word and how secular history has watched them come true? No, I suppose not. I'm certainly not going to say my word is unfallable or that I know everything, but I do go to the source that does. That would be the Bible. :)

Anyways... nope, what you just said is quite impossible according to Biblical prophecy that is yet to be fulfilled. She will however hand the reigns of control over to the anti-Christ who will quite likely be impersenated by satan himself. Natural disasters have been on the rise since the turn of the millinium. That's not rocket science, so hypothesize with me for a minute. Suddenly tragedies unlike what the world has ever experienced begin to unfold upon this globe. Natural disasters triple from there current state... financial crisis are worse than ever before... oil crisis... moral decay... all reach their peak about 7 years from now. Suddenly pope Paul rises from the dead and with a world gone crazy there is a "call back to worship and God" with this risen pope leading the way. Who wouldn't respond at a time like that in earth's history?
 
It is made mandatory that everyone worship on Sunday (these mandatory "blue laws" are already on the books of most of the states of this great land of ours). Those who refuse (like me) will be seen as the problem, hunted down, and persecuted to the point of death in mass. This would not be unlike the catholic iquistions of the past should you choose to study your history, and history my friend, does repeat itself. We Sabbath keepers will be seen as the problem and illiminated to "clean up America".
 
Considering the current state of America, how far fetched do just those two paragraphs seem to you? Remember them as the days progress and when your convinced I'm on to something flea from the sunday churches before it's to late. Right now there are many God fearing believers within the Sunday churches. Their will come a time when that does change, for the woman you refer to is the apostate church not any single person. Notice I did not say catholicism, but all sunday churches who refuse to adhere to the clear directions from God's Word about keeping the Sabbath rather than the resurrection day.
 
Things might not unfold exactly the way I outlined above but if you study prophey there is no escaping the fact that the pope is the anti-Christ and the one to return the pope to it's place of power is indeed the United States. Amazing, just when many would say the US is not mentioned at all within end time prophesy it turns out it is a pivitol part of exactly that.

There are parables and symbolic language within God's Word. Such things are not to be taken literally, but those parts of God's Word which are clearly not of this calaber should indeed be taken literally.
 
The symbol of a woman dressed in purple makes no sense to be taken literally. However, without much study one would see that there are indeed two women mentioned in Revelation. One is the apostate church and the other is the true church (not Adventist, but the true church).
 
One parable many Christians take literally is the story of Lazarus and the rich man where they get the idea of going immediately to Heaven. Since this is clearly a parable it shouldn't be taken literally while literal parts of God's Word should indeed be taken literally.
 
By the time all of this happens there will be presious little time left to be saved or eat a Wendy's whatchyamacallit. Such a serious matter should not be put in the balance, though I pray you are even half way serious and as you start to see the things I have taught take place flea from the Sunday churches and find those willing to risk their lives over keeping the Sabbath Holy.

The pope will be the anti-Christ. Read Daniel Chap 2 or 7... heck the entire book of Daniel lays this out in clear black and white for anyone with even just half an open mind.
 
The beast dressed in red or purple in the apostate church who worships the pope when Sunday worship is once again mandated within the US and the entire world. Have you ever looked at the colors that many catholic and other denominational religions focus upon for their ceremonies?

You believe you will be persecuted for worshipping on saturday? What about all of the jews, muslims, atheists, agnostics, hindus, shintos, blah blah... All of these groups would be persecuted in your fantasy, and all would protest against the application of the laws which you appear afraid of.
 
Let's say for the sake of this post your mancrush jc is the lord and savior, blah blah. How many people did he get to follow him in his day? What makes you think that ANY human/satan/god/preacher could get a large enough following within their own lifetime to enact the changes that you speak of?
 
It's simply not possible. And really, the baconater only takes a few mins to whip together, and you only have to eat one in 2015 when your fantasy doesn't come true.

How many people attended pope John Paul's funeral. 2 million or so? That's sounds like an extremely large following for people to rally behind and religiously control things thru does it not? Especially if he presumably rises from the dead... if his death brought such a large following how large of a following do you think his regenerated life will demand?
 
And I did not say those who are Adventist would be persecuted, but rather anyone who does not abide by the enforced laws which are already on the books of our great nation. This would include anyone from the groups which you mentioned above.
 
However, I am not "scared" of these laws anymore than I am "scared" of being a martyr for Christ should that come to be. For I serve a risen Savior who will redeem my body from the grave one day to live eternally and forever more.

2 million is nobody. That's less than 1% of the US population. Besides, that was to mourn the death of an influential figure. 9 million Americans have voted for Obama so far. Does that mean they will take to the sword and destroy Washington if BO doesn't win the nomination?
 
Besides, the guy who said he would change US law to be more like the bible is Huckabee. Maybe he wins the presidency, and since John McCain already rose from the dead he is the anti-christ.

I've dealt extensively with this topic in dialog with Jebus on this self same MISC BB. Where in the world is Jebus now, only the shadow knows.
 
Your request is that I try to keep short my answers. So...
 
1. There are 2 different types of laws given in the Bible.
A: The temporary Mosaic covenant (which encompasses a large number of those 600 commandments that you refer to)
B: The 10 Commandments from God which are to last for all eternity. (Many of the 600 commandments that you refer to can be clearly walked back to these Commandments.)
 
2. The temporary Mosaic covenant was followed until the ultimate sacrifice of Jesus Christ upon the cross of Calvary. They were nailed to His cross and the age of grace began.
 
3. Since Christ and His disciples followed the 10 Commandments and taught others to do likewise even after the death of Christ, certainly they were still to be followed.
 
Therein lies the difference between the Mosaic covenant and the 10 Commandments. Many of those who call themselves Christians have no trouble following 9 of the 10 commandments. However, when it comes to the forth commandment (the only one that begins with the word "remember")... somehow this is the commandment that everyone wants to change and or forget altogether.
 
8 "Remember the Sabbath day by keeping it holy. 9 Six days you shall labor and do all your work, 10 but the seventh day is a Sabbath to the LORD your God. On it you shall not do any work, neither you, nor your son or daughter, nor your manservant or maidservant, nor your animals, nor the alien within your gates. 11 For in six days the LORD made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, but he rested on the seventh day. Therefore the LORD blessed the Sabbath day and made it holy.
