..Forget about the following reference to the unpredictability
of the 7-to-10 day weather forecast; last night, our 'local'
Portland, Oregon.. "CBS" affiliate {KOIN-TV} couldn't even
get the forecast for the upcoming 8 hours right, for the N. Oregon
coast!-- They forecast a "high-wind-warning" in the early evening,
which thankfully, never materialized!
 
..To be fair, I believe that "KOIN-TV" {Portland} relies on "Accu-
weather"; {a private company} for its forecasts.
