Ravel's Bolero is the perfect soundtrack, for any film where there is some kind of relationship or interaction. Whether it is the bull and the bull fighter from Torvill and Dean, or two people playing in an orchestra. This next video is no exception, except for the sad fact that it has been removed from youtube. So you'll just have to hum the tune while I paint the picture. Imagine a sandy beach in summer. It is mid afternoon, the weather is superb; blue sky , gentle breeze. A few people , only , scattered on the sand. A stunningly gorgeous young woman in a tiny black bikini [ hum slightly quicker] approaches the camera and lays her towel on the sand. Two surfers in the distance stand mesmerized as she prepares herself to sunbathe. She is aware that she is being watched, and she seems bemused by the attention she is getting. Which is not surprising as she removes her bikini top. Some very careful camera angles ensure that this is done in the best possible taste.But it is still very sexy. Soon she is naked on her towel. The surfers are rooted to the spot. How should men react..should they find her tantalizing and tempting; should they desperately try to turn away...? The film continues, with the woman standing up and wrapping the towel around herself, she goes up to the two surfers. We hear no dialogue ; this is a silent film except for the music. Surprisingly, she does not berate them for perving at her, but seems to be laughing and joking with them. Maybe she is saying..look guys , I'm just a woman. You don't have to behave like kids in a chocolate shop, when you see someone attractive at the beach. So it seems that the message of this film did not get through to those who have had it banned from youtube. However if it returns, I'll post it here. Get the heart pills ready.
