Reply | 23 Nov 2007, 23:00:36   Few Bible-Doctrine Topics Merit a "?" Response, to the True Religious Addict{!} ..In coming up with this post's title, {No, this isn't a pre- cursor to entering a 'debate' with anyone}.. I was reminded of a certain current Caissa's Web member among us {Guess?!}.. who, based on his 'track-record', would rather discuss and debate {to-the-'hilt'} 'True' Bible precepts/truths, as he 'sees them' {many of them 'peculiar' to his own religion-of- choice} than just about anything else in-the-world! ..If you're still somewhat skeptical, then 'google': 'Religious addiction'; keeping in mind, that perhaps like most addictions, this particular 'mindset' {if you will} takes several-to-many forms, as to their specific mal-adjusted traits! ..Apparently, the form we're seeing manifested on this 'BB', is one who is determined that in Scriptural-terms, virtually every Bible-Truth, has to be Fully and Very Clearly explained, {even various issues that Don't directly concern the Bible's 'Salvation- message' through time}. ..You say that you can't fully explain every Bible precept satis- factorily to yourself?!.. Well then, I think I know of someone who 'Claims' to come fairly close to bridging that schism in understanding{!}.. But to fully appreciate that 'claim' and where he's 'coming-from,' realizing that there Is such a thing as "religious addiction" {search, Google} will, 'imho'.. put Both that claim, and claimant, in a better perspective! {The preceding, did Not violate my stated intention not to debate religion with anyone in particular; since it's merely a 'in-my-humble-opinion' type, one-time-only statement.. and I like to think, a factual one.. at that!}.. 0: |

Simply start a new post attempting to chastize me, and then leave the old post unanswered leaving me with the "last word". I'm impressed. Especially considering that the response in that e-mail was rather heart felt for the most part to which your response is next to silence. Forget Google, and look up "blind" in Webster; you might need to refamilarize yourself with that definition. Happy Sabbath IBIJ |
