Oral Roberts' Son Says God Telling Him to Deny Scandal Charges

Richard Roberts, son of televangelist Oral Roberts and current president of his father's university, says he is being told by God to deny charges being laid against him by three former professors, involving political favors and personal indulgences.
 
He's accused of using the school's jet to send his daughter to the Bahamas and buying two luxury cars. Also, his wife for spending thousands on clothes, nonacademic scholarships to family friends, and using school cellphones to text "underage males."
 
"We have asked and asked to see the finances of our school and what they're doing with our money, and we've been told no. Now we know why. As a student, I'm not going to stand for it any longer," said a student, who plans on transferring.
