The time has come! The New Caissa website will officially go live Tuesday, 29 May 2007. Here are a few notes about the big launch.
 
There will be 2 sites for members to access.
 
The NEW Caissa will be accessed using: http://www.caissa.com The OLD site will still be available, only at a different address: http://www.caissaclassic.com
 
There will be a link to the Old Caissa directly from the New Caissa home page.
 
Inevitably, there will be bugs and problems associated with the switch-over. We ask for your patience during this time of transition.
 
Report any problems using the Tech Support bulletin board on the New Caissa, or you can send a Caissa Message to AdminBrian, or an email to admin@caissa.com.
 
If you haven’t already, we encourage you to go to the New Caissa beta site at www.caissaonlinechess.com. This is essentially the site that will go live on 29 May 2007.
 
Additional information about the switch-over will be posted in the coming week.

Is there a plan to switch all live games to the new site, eventually?

There are no plans to discontinue the live games on the old site.

Second question - when posting - would it be possible to move add a 'post' button to the same area that 'preview' and 'cancel' currently are at? I think some people may be confused into thinking that they don't have a post button.

There are still alot of details that we need to add to the bulletin boards so that is one we will eventually get to.

Don't you think you are rushing this just a little bit? There are still several areas under construction - some of them very important areas. One such area that is important to me is the tournament Correspondence area.
