Not sure how much longer that BB will be around so you will want to transfer over here ASAP.

This new site is AWFUL. Get rid of it please! Why make a new site and have it be much inferior to the old site??? Playing a live game is hideous!

no active corr. games on new site ? where are the tourn. we can join ?

The corr tournaments area is currently not implemented on the new Caissa. This will be available in the near future.

Well after I shot my mouth I'm warming up to this place a little after figuring some things out. Still taking some getting used too though....

Brian, two little encouchements I would like to see:
 
1) when you open a thread you cannot go to last page without scrolling down to bottom of page 1, then hitting "6" - as an example. Two ways around it, make it so that you can open the thread with options to click any page right there (best?), or, just put on top of page 1 of thread what is there at bottom now. (1 2 3 4 5 6 ) etc.
 
2) I have seen the following implementation elsewhere and think it is great: when a viewer clicks a thread, viewer is taken to first post that viewer has not yet seen. that's so cool

You can set the BB up to list the newer post first.
 
Go to the BB Configuration and change the following to descending.
 

Default Sort Direction (Main List):	Ascending	Descending
Default Sort Direction (Topic Page):	Ascending	Descending

 
You can also do the same thing when viewing post, in the shaded area above the posts change the order to descending.

Another thing you can do is to change the number of entries per page. The higher the number the less number pf pages you have to go through. I got mine set at 999. You can change this in the same place you change your posting order

Number of entries per page (Main List):	999	
Number of entries per page (Topic Page): 999

No offense Pazu, but setting the default to descending is not that great an idea - at least not for me.
 
if you have 10 posts left in the thread that you have not read, you see the last first. I mean, it's Ok, you can just backtrack until you find where you left off. you know, that last post may be in response to something that you have not read yet, so you're reading a central point you have only seen one side to.
 
But I might give that a try in the meantime. maybe it will work with low volume BB's. thanks.

Well, it'd be a hell of a lot easier to scroll down ten post than to keep scrolling down page to page...
