I have been asked, "Is that you?" as to my Avatar. LOL, no, that is
actor Charles Middleton in his most famous role as, "Ming The Merciless,
Emperor Of Mongo" from the old Flash Gordon serials (Starring Buster
Crabbe.) It would be interesting if everyone who uses an Avatar, and
I wish everyone would, would post here explaining just what it is!

As for my Avatar it is simply a Vampire carrying a woman.Since I
love horror movies and a certain cute Vampire I thought it would be
a good avatar for me.

That avatar pic comes from the AD&D Ravenloft supplement. (Now I'm showing my true dorkiness).

Mine is a rainbow lorikeet [ an australian parrot], feeding on the honey from a grevillea flower. Every morning, I get a flock of these birds in my garden feeding on food which I put out for them.

I was debating between a pic of my mom and Godzilla.

Seriously, I like the moving avatars, like Hawkeye, Garm and the non-Humans. Mine was a short repeating clip of Godzilla breathing the atomic breath, but alas, I couldn't save it like that and transfer it. So I have a Godzilla still.

Dr. Zarkov was played by Frank Shannon. Shannon had a fair number of
bit roles in the 30's and 40's, but is most well-known for his portrayal
of the brilliant Dr. Zarkov in the Flash Gordon serials.
