His 'mo' {method of operation}, has All the similarities, of "HaminPidor"; To the point, where he probably IS "HaminPidor"!

Just concluded a 5 minute game, with said 'magic' player; And considering he scored a point against me, even though he quit playing on the 5th move; It Was 'magic' in a way!; Even though I waited for him to make a response to my unanswered move, until the 5-minute game clock, expired.

Ps. At around the 3-and-a-half minute mark, he messaged me: "Are you still there?" Very 'funny'; Even though I ignored the question; Given that there was No indication, that it Wasn't his turn to move.. and I turned out to be right!

Att. Admin. Brian: Your site obviously has a somewhat 'gaping' 'hacking' problem!, {even if it's only one violater, using several to many 'handles'}. I have had this same thing happen to me at least twenty times, and must have lost 500 Fast Chess points because of it. I had assumed that it was just a now-and-then glitch in Caissa and not the work of a Hacker.
It is always the same. I make my move, it shows on the board, and it shows in the notation, and my opponent's clock starts running. Finally, my oppenents clock reaches zero, and I assume I get a time forfeit win, but when the, "xxxx has exceeded the time control" message I know I am in trouble, and, despite what I see on the board and in the notation, that I have been forfeited for exceeding the time control.
Whether it is a Caissa glitch, or a hacker(s), the issue needs to be addressed.

i think it is a Caissa glitch as it has happened to me numerous times as well against people I have played many times.Why would someone once in a while cheat while the majority of times play fairly? Makes no sense to me

This happens all the time. Switch to Mozilla (I guess you are using Internet Explorer). That helped me. This have not only happened to me but to many of my opponents as well and I have had the same allegations directed against me on several occasions. It is not appreciated.

It is hard to determine who is using this glitch to their advantage and who is not. The best way to determine whether you are being 'had' is to play people you know as much as possible. If it happens too much with one particular guest account then it may be fair to assume something is fishy. I have had this particular bug happen to me a few times where I lost but I've also seen my opponent have trouble and I received a forfeit win on account of this bug and I can assure you that it was not my intention to win in this way. So, it must all come down to a judgement call...Does your opponent at the time of occurence need to 'cheat' to win or is he a fair player? Does he alert you when he senses a unusual amount of time has elapsed since your last move? Sometimes this issue can be fixed by refreshing the web page by both parties. I have gotten frozen games to work that would have likely been forfeited by my opponent by refreshing the page on my end. Unfortunately in 2min games once a problem occurs one of you is usually lost, but just use good judgement before you point a dirty finger at someone. I know there is alot of crooked crap that goes on here but most of us are here to play fair and enjoy the game.

This happened to me yesterday as my opponent had 13 seconds to my 40 and even went grey on his time and it showed he overstepped the time limit only to have me lose rating points. This happens WAY too often.
