However, if you want to verify you've been disconnected and your opponent hasn't - check the Live Games, watch games list and look for the last move in your game. I usually see my opponent has made a move in the last move list that's not showing on my game screen. If it does happen - just grit your teeth, take a deep breath, and start your next game - that's all that can be done about it. I believe this glitch is actually a 'feature' that was built as a response to those who intentionally disconnect. That the site doesn't maintain connections well enough wasn't accounted for when that decision was made. |

I have been wondering about this for a long long time and was honestly very worried about my machine security. I am relieved to some extent. Sounds like the 'old days' of dial up but not nearly as bad in my area of the country and with this connection. It does sound like my problem is not nearly as severe as others, or perhaps I just don't play as often. LOL. Thanks. Edited on 21 Aug 2009 at 14:30:32 |

The reason for the request was because of people artificially inflating lag time via refresh or pulling their network cable momentarily, etc. It would be good if implemented properly, but at the least the interface should let both players know the whats and whys. -f |

Unfortunately, I don't think Caissa currently has the connectivity to put a working system in place. What exists now is just a disconnect to a ghosting session that everyone has to wait on. Doesn't work well.

We all arn't imagining things so I dont want to hear "It doesn't happen on this site" stuff. So admin, do you really not read these threads or just pretend not too so you dont have to deal with the issues? We just do not like to be told the problem doesnt exist when it happens so many times to so many players. How does this occur and what can be done about it (if anything).
