$80 subscription!?
I've been a subscribed Caissa member since August, 1996. I renewed a few days ago, for the $30 asked at the new Caissa site. A couple days later I logged on to "Classic Caissa" and was asked to renew for another $50.

I don't play at the old site anymore, but I have saved games there with the comments/conversations that go back ten years. I don't want to lose those conversations with friends -- some have disappeared, some have died. Please don't tell me I have to go through 250 games, move by move, and do cut-and-paste over the next 48 hours.

I'll give you another $20 (added to the $30 I already paid) to upgrade to "Premium Membership" to maintain my access to Classic Caissa. If you agree to that, I'll do that laborious cut-and-paste during the next 12 months.

I gave my old games and messages up too. Some of my favorites were with you. I wish they could have been transfered to the new site also.

It's been a while since I've been to the old site, but can't you save all your games to a pgn file? One thing I'm not sure of is if the comments/conversations get saved that way.

Exactly. Pgn files only save the moves. I actually don't care about saving the moves, it's those conversations that I value.
