guests have caused a lot of frustrations. Some but not all will abandon games. With the 'single move' time limit not working i have waited for up to 35 minutes for the 'exceeded time limit' to end the game. my only other option is to resign.

How do i log on to wait for a game and NOT accept a guest as an opponent?
Is my ONLY option to not make the first move or answer the first move and let the game abort?

Re: guest
Currently there is no way to filter live game pairings based on member type like a "guest." We do plan to implement a more detailed filter system, though probably based on each member's record of abandoning or forfeiting games which we will begin tracking.

With regard to abandoned games, if your opponent abandons or "leaves" the game by closing their browser or turning off their computer, you will receive a notice that they disconnected and a 5 minute timer will begin ticking down. If they have not reconnected during that 5 minutes you can clain a forfeit and the win.

In the case of the opponent NOT disconnecting but just taking a long time to move (the board is still on their screen and their clock is ticking) there is currently no single move time limit. We have not had alot of complaints about this situation, but with the increased number of live games being played we may need to re-implement it.

As always we welcome any and all suggestions for features to be included in the next group of updates for the live games.

Re: guest
OK, I am not a programmer or computer genius by any definition. I do remember we had both of these items, filter and single move thing, at the classic site. I guess it is more complicated than simply insert it into this site.
