Hi, I recently joined this site and of the many chess sites I have toured, this is one of the best. (Live Chess960 is one of the main appeals).
 
However I would like to see some minor issues addressed:
 
•There are graphical glitches in the text of players' names during any game. The result is that the name and player ratings are hardly legible. This happens on my G5 tower running OS 10.5.4, whether I use Safari, Camino, or Firefox. The effect is identical when I use my G4 Titanium laptop.

•Joining or watching a game in Firefox or Camino, crashes the browser instantly. Safari has not crashed at all so this is not a big deal. However this still warrants attention.
•I would like to see some better way to check player ratings (outside of a game) besides noting their name and looking them up in the Member Directory. Perhaps double clicking their name could take you to the pertinent directory entry?

Thanks for your comments. To address them individually:
 
• We are aware of some formatting issues when accessing Caissa using Safari on Macintosh. Due to the differences in how browsers render HTML and fonts, it is quite difficult to get Caissa to look the same in all browsers, esp. given the limited screen real estate for some of the features. We'll make a note of this issue and see if we can get it cleared up in a future update.
 
• Currently you can only access Caissa using Safari on Mac. Firefox and Camino on Mac will not work due to technical reasons. Although we may look into modifying Caissa to work with these browsers in the future, they each represent less than 1% of our daily visitors so it is hard to justify any major work in this area.
 
• We are working on some pop up member profiles that will contain additional ratings information. They will be accessed by clicking on a member's handle or rating.
