Tracking MOT Games

AdminBrian,,

any way for Caissa to have an accessible crosstable for MOT games, similar to the ones for caissa tournies, so that everyone participating in the MOT can keep track of the games of the players while in progress?

thank you,

Snoop

Re: Tracking MOT Games
There is no way to do this automatically, but if individual members want to make there ongoing games available for viewing on the bulletin board they could just start a thread like "SnoopDog176 MOT Games" and then use the "Import GameğMonitor a Game" bulletin board function to embed their games. Re: Tracking MOT Games
Thanks, Brian,
I was fairly sure that could be done, anyway.

I was thinkng more in terms of letting a "section" fill up like it does for corr tournies, and as soon as it is filled, the tourney starts.

also, in the tourney I am in, one player waited three days to start, so his time was not forfeited. this would not happen if the tourney was started by caissa (am I right? white's clock starts right away?)

Also, if it is a theme where 10 or moves have to be made, think about how much time the players have to play just to get to the desired position. If Caiss started the tourney off, it could set everyone's board to the start position, as defined, say, by the tourney director.

Since Caissa has the ability to start of with a position other than traditional chess (chess360), this would not seem too hard to do.

Ahhh, but I dream :--)

thanks Brian
